The legs were ok, and no pain from the calves so the physio did his job :) Bizarrely just felt knackered, but I've got a bit of a cold and think it's was only last week I did the race.

Last minute rush when I had to put DD's hair in abun for her exam etc and whilst waiting for her I've sold £25 worth of stuff on ebay :) It's inspiring me to photo the other lot now!

Thank God I have boys:rotfl: Although DS3 was at football training this morning, came home soaked through , covered from head to toe in mud:(. My carpet is now a nice shade of mud;)

Little DD was due to take her first ballet exam last Sunday (yes, on Mother's Day ) Her hair had to be centre parted - she has a straight fringe, but the rest of her hair is very curly. So, with Elnett at the ready, I slapped some mousse on her hair and parted it, then made 2 high ponytails to plait and put ribbons in, then pin on top of her head - Phew!

We got to the high pony stage and she freaked. So the ballet exam ended right there......

Oh no! DD did moan a lot during hers as I was scrambling around the house for hair grips, she is now too scared to take it out incase she takes some scalp out with them it is that tight  Well at least it stayed in.....

She thinks she's done ok, had to try and entertain DS which was not the easiest task. We are now doing homework.....

I am sure I have the whole brown carpet thing to come with DS - and not in a "oh I've pooed on the carpet thing" :rotfl:

Macgirl - you will amaze yourself how you can gradually increase your mileage after you've done your 10k. Just tell yourself that you will do an extra mile one day a week and then on the 4th week drop it down to 10k for a break. You have GNR to aim for so you can easily do it :)

Bit worried about my dog, not eating or drink and my vet friend think she looks very sad too :(

Thanks for the running advice :A I'm sure I'll be back for more in the coming weeks as the training plans I've seen online don't look very convincing.

Sorry about your dog.....are you going to get your friend to take a proper look at him? Sorry HER :o
