Well one idea would be to move it to the discussion board, another would be to get it back on track.. Or another would be to let it run so others can get a more useful idea of what weight to give evidence.

Getting it back on track would be good, how about all posters go back through the threadd and re-read looking for posts where they have stated things, and clear evidence to the contrary has been published, yet they have not yet acknolwedge this.

In fact, healy, for for example, it would give more weight to your arguments (which is now needed as a failure to give any indication of where your knowledge is from means it could be from anywhere, or nowhere, or you could have something to hide, it causes a lack of credibility) if you went back to all those posts claiming false things (where you thanked them) and read the evidence posted and stated whether you still agree with the thanks now proof of the error of the thanks was given.

Hint, start with taping of medicals, and the right to use as evidence, but go through the thread, there may be more.

I do not need to give weight to my argument and I am not as said before telling you why I know the vast majority of appeal tribunals are fair, I think I have made that clear a number of times now. I have nothing to hide, but as I said I do not give any personal details on open forums. As for credibility I think people can judge for themselves on my history on this forum. I do not see how any of this has any connection with thanks I have given to other posters when it was about a different subject and have no intention of re-reading any of it.

The pathetic tedium of the most recent post nearly pushed me over the edge!

But this thread is not debating benefit policies, it is debating problems people have with benefits, its covering people real experiences of the system, and other peoples statements of the system based on, er we dont know as they wont give us any idea...

It covers issues that can help people in the same situation, we are not sitting discussing politics, the thread is about what happens at medicals, peoples real life experiences, hints and tips, things to be aware of, how to appeal, what to watch out for etc.

Some people are trying to get the thread deleted by saying it is just about policies or politics - when in fact, like you say, it is primarily about things poster claimants should be aware of when undertaking so-called 'medicals' and 'independent' tribunals.

No it is not! It's about scaremongering based on one or two people's (subjective) bad experiences!

Well, seeing as you openly admit that you are not bothered about having an opinion on something that can be proven incorrect, ie - you are quite willing despite evidence to still beleive things that are untrue, that leads me to add even less weight to any thing you say.

Most sensible people would be interested if a point of view they had was challenged and proven to be incorrect beyond doubt.

How many other things regarding this area do you deliberately ignore the facts about I wonder?
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that
