I've been reading through this whole post since yesterday and just wanted to put my tuppence in and say chin up. :grouphug:
When things are as bad as they seem for you just now, they can only get better. I think we all get to a stage where we don't think we can go on but somehow we manage to dust ourselves off and eventually look back and wonder why we felt so bad.
Also, I know it's really hard to imagine sometimes, but there genuinely are people out there who are worse off than all of us. Try making a little "feel good" list for yourself of the things that are good just now e.g. you still have your house, you have the love and support of each other, you have all us MSErsetc etc Sometimes it helps me to focus on the good/what I have rather than the bad.
Hope everything goes well for you today, I'm sure we'll all be thinking about you xxxxOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 014Lightbulb Moment 12 December 05They may take our lives but they'll never take our FREEDOM!!0 -
Hi
I have just found this thread this morning and read through it all. Sorry I don't have any advice, but felt I had to add something.
I find it unbelievable that people can be so unkind to others, as your PIL are being to you and your partner. I hope you manage to get yourselves sorted soon and hope you get on fine at the doctors today. Thinking of you.
Best wishes.0 -
