    Oh Jen!

My eyes are sore from reading this from start to finish - What a brave lady x

I hope that whatever happened today does not stop you from posting again, like everybody says, we all want to help.

I only wish in my simplistic way that you could post your address and everyone send you a fiver x

I offer no real advice, I am no legal expert. I do think that sometimes you can pay for legal advice and expect to have got it, but later realise that it was not GOOD advice.

A second opinion is something many of us dismiss, out of hand - too quickly.

You have obviously done a lot of what you have done under the guidance of others and with your PIL's best interests at heart.

Hang on in there, Tomorrow, everyone is back to work, and you can start to put some of this into action.

I know it must all seem really daunting, coming out of that safe, dark place in the sand! Someone earlier said 'bite sized chunks' this is definately the answer.

One thing at a time. Just one phone call, one letter. Then run back to us for more support!

Good luck Jen - tomorrow's another day x

going to rest those eyes now, good luck at the doctors 2moro, and hang on in there, your support is here. If dial-up prooves too much, the library is a free source of broadband, possibly not too private tho..

Come back to us soon :grouphug:

    Nite Nite

Something that keeps coming back into my mind is that you could print off all 6 (I think it's 6) pages of this and send it to them.

They might throw it in the bin, but however anybody thinks of you, you still have to read it somehow, don't you!

Might make them re-consider, at best, or feel bad at worst. Scare them a bit, make them re-consider..

Probably a silly idea, an idea anyway!

too late, time for bed!

I read this through last night and I STILL can't believe that people would act like this......and that includes Peter's siblings.

Would it be worth writing to them saying that due to financial circumstances that you both find yourself in, you are no longer able to continue paying a mortgage on their current dwelling and that you will be forced to sell it buying a new, cheaper dwelling for them.

The letter could pint out that whilst you don't want to do this (well whats a huge porkie eh?) you fear that unless this course of action is taken, that if youi don't do soemthing, bankruptcy may result and the sale of their dwelling may be forced and Peter will be unable to rehouse them and they will be forced to live wherever the council rehouse them and that includes in areas that they would find unsuitable.

I don't know what went wrong for you yesterday but please post back......I've never met any one on here in the flesh but I do consider everyone (especially on this board) as friends.
