I got made redundant back in October and have been working cash in hand since (stupid i know!) this means that i wont be able to get SMP or MA... right?
So I can get income support from 29 weeks (how much is this?) and then when the babies born i'll get child tax credits (approx amount?) and child benefit (£20 a week right?) any the i heard something about IB- now ESA for 8 weeks around the birth, is that on top of the income support?!
I'll be a single parent in rented accomodation, i understand that HB and CTB will pretty much cover this tho i may need to pay a little bit...
I'm just wondering approx how much i will get from 29 weeks and then from when the babies born?
thanks in advance!

Have you been signing on and getting your NI credits.
Its important becuase it has an impact on your long term benefits say in 3 years time and you have to be off sick, you will not have had enough credits this year to be able to claim it. It also has longer term effect ie State Pension.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
*gulp* yes i was signing on0

so you have been signing on, but getting cash in hand which I assume you haven't declared and now you are asking what you are entitled to?0
-
yeah i know it was wrong, i left the job a couple of months ago, i worked 4 hours a week at a bar to pay off a personal debt and dont know why i didnt declare it as i'm pretty sure it wouldnt of even affected my benefits as it was such a low amount, i never actually received the money, it went directly to the person i was working for as i owed him money.0

I guess that is all right then0

I was going to write a post about how you fiddle the system by not paying tax on your earnings yet want the system to pay you now as your entitled.
But decided against writing it.

Why would you get incapacity benefit(ESA)? Is there something wrong with you?0

Child support from the father also, you seem to have missed that out in your calculation.I got made redundant back in October and have been working cash in hand since (stupid i know!) this means that i wont be able to get SMP or MA... right?

I was thinking the same Bozo but I really enjoy this site and don't want to get kicked off.
Is the father of the child supporting you? If not I suggest you get in contact with CSA.
You will get SMP which I think is around £115 per week.0 -
