You wont get any incapacity benefit for being pregnant.

You have to pass the criteria for being incapacited for work, and being pregnant isn't part of the criteria, unless their are complications that mean you pass the other tests.
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

They can do amazing things with chicken basters

To the op, you seem to have got away with working without declaring it, but you have been so silly because as a single parent you could have kept £20 of your earnings on top of your IBJSA/IS. Now you will be hoping you don't get found out!!!

A person not entitled to MA may claim ESA for 8 weeks. I'm questioning my self now, that was certainly the case with Incap, pretty sure it's still the case for ESA.

I wish the Government could see this thread and realise what this country has come to.

A benefit cheat (a thief), who merrily conceived a child with a man who has barely hung around long enough to pull his trousers up would now like to know what else she can screw out of the state.

I really wish I hadn't been responsible and re-trained before returning to full time work. I should have had a gaggle of kids, neatly spaced out so I could stay at home rent free, cash in hand for the foreseeable future.
