As the OP on this thread over 2 years ago, I have some satisfaction that this thread appears 3rd on google, which gives googlers a warning about this company (pre-warned is pre-armed and all that).

Incidently, we opted for Hillarys and are delighted with the blinds (at about 10% of the TS price!)

I'm slightly confused. I added an honest opinion on this forum about my new blinds and suddenly I'm accused of working for sanderson. What is this, some kind of conspiracy forum.

Would the 2 users who made those reply's to my original post like to tell the forum how they came to the conclusion I work for Sanderson's because I am also fascinated to find out that I have new employers.

I had Hillary's in 2 years ago and the rep who sold us the blinds also fitted them, are they still doing this? The reps DIY skills wern't all that good but they havent fallen down so cant complain too much.

If you are not an employee of Thomas Sanderson then I apologise. But there have been so many instances on this board where employees or owners of dodgy companies have come on here and have written bogus glowing reports that it makes us all very wary when somebody does this, especially when they post count is in single figures.

.....Its not a Mr Sanderson is it?........Unfortunately, tactics like this are too common on MSE, and many of us "in the know" regarding forum etiquette are more likely to be,....lets say as sceptical, about your posts, as they would be about any other completely new member, who has gone to the trouble to register, for the sole purpose of saying they got a "good deal".

phoned sandersons for blinds for my conservatory,was amazed when they told me they didnt do vertical blinds,and also was told i couldnt cancel the appointment to get measured up for a blind they dont do

No one on this form is impressed by your rather poor attempt at humour. I do not work for Thomas Sanderson as i have already stated in my earlier posts. Anyone who understood how a forum works would accept that people have different experiences and view points and they are perfectly entitled to air them on this forum, maybe if you wirte to MSE you can ask that only bad comments are placed on the forums. I notice that Eddy5 had the same issues as myself, so can I ask that people involved in this forum respect the views of others.

That's a bit weak isn't it, its not an attempt at humour, try READING the post, your somewhat irratic defence to the post, leads me to conclude your in some way related, I stated "as someone who understands how a forum works" what tactics companies use, your example being one of them., once you've been a member of MSE a little longer than you have, you will slowly begin to realise that for yourself., I was at first "sceptical" of your post, which is why I went to the time to explain methods that unscrupulous companies use, but still giving the benefit of the doubt to yourself, hence my post, however your rather "hostile" reply, kind of seals it for me as to your ethics. reducing any "respect" to your views. Thus increasing my mistrust of your post.

I am more inclined to "respect" Eddy5's post, yet your quoting of his post, makes me just a tad more suspicious of it. I am sure he can speak quite well for himself, without any help from you.

To qoute yourself here, Can I ask that you respect the views of others in this forum
