The company I'm currently temping with supply catering workers to offshore rigs (off Aberdeen and Blackpool) and they are all desperate for chef bakers. I know the going rate for 2 weeks for a stewarding job is about £2400 gross and bakers get paid even more. You would have to do a survival course at your own expense first (roughly £550) but this is a requirement as none of them will put you through it, but they will pay for your medicals etc if selected. You might be eligible for funding from a Career Development Loan maybe?

Good luck - not my area of expertise really, just happen to be working here for a few weeks!

I thought Capitol One were too good to be true, they have been taking my standing order token payment each month, but I got a letter this morning, stating, that I have broken the agreement, and havnt paid them, this is crazy, I can prove that I have! IVE GOT STATEMENTS!!!

Ah well, Ive got a doctors appointment on Monday afternoon, I cant cope with this anymore, I was on the Bupa Website yesterday, reading what the symptoms of depression were,
    http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/html/depression.html

and out of the 13 listed, Ive got 11, bar bottom 2. (at the moment).

It is getting so hard now, Im tired, I just wish I could afford to go bankrupt.

Oh Nillhouse, poor you. I hope the app goes well - and that the dr is able to help. It does sound like things are getting on top of y ou a little.

DFS's suggestion sounds good although the start up cost is a problem.

Thats it then, Im diagnosed as depressed, f**king typical, got to start popping happy pills, (citalopram hydrobromide it says on my prescription), routine trips to the doctors, and have been signed off! (Im unemployed, but signed off signing on I guess, got to take a little white form to the jobcentre tomorrow).

I suppose thats one less worry to deal with, (got to the stage of going for meetings to find out why I havnt been employed yet).

Its wierd, but I feel a bit of a fraud, but I guess thats the way depreesion works.

Right Im off to Tesco to get my happy drugs, hmmm, prehaps I ought to write to my creditors to tell them what they have done to me!!!

Early night tonight, got to do at least 10 minutes exercise tomorrow.

    Hi nillhouse,

I'm sorry to hear that you are depressed, but I hope that the medication will help and that you can focus on yourself for a while to relax and recoup. It's been really stressful eh?

    Good luck with the exercise!

Back in April, I took my partner off my Natwest Bank account, so she wouldnt incur my debt, now Natwest have phoned her, and are demanding she pay off my credit zone, It seems we were given false information regarding taking her off. Our branch just said write a letter informing the bank that she wasnt on the account anymore, which we did.

I wonder when my depression pills will start working?
