HFC Update -
They have sent me a semi-positive letter, (after Ive sent them five), apologising for failing to respond to ONE of my letters, however, they have also said they have found No trace of recieving my SOA, (which I sent on the 5th May, and which, as far as Im concerned, is them admitting they have lost it), and would I mind forwarding a copy.
The problem for me now is, they have allready issued a default notice, is me sending this information again going to stop the action? Or is it just pointless?Tescos latest enemy.........0 -
Ok, heres the letter Im sending back, along with another copy of my SOA,
Thank you for your letter dated 5th July 2006, stating you have found no trace of receiving my Financial Statement. I enclose a further copy of this statement as requested.
As you claim you did not receive this information, I will also go over what I wrote in the letter.
I wrote to you on the 27th of April 2006 in inform you that I was currently experiencing financial difficulties, and asked for a current balance of my account, and that you put my account into abeyance and forego any interest or other charges that would increase my indebtedness, as this would enable me to produce constructive proposals for repayment. I am yet to receive any such mailing, therefore I am going to go ahead with the following.
As requested, I enclosed a personal budget sheet which shows my total income from all sources and the total outgoings of my household. As you can see I have no money left for my creditors.
However, I have written to each of my creditors asking them to accept a monthly token payment and in view of my circumstances. I would therefore like to offer £1 per month to repay this account. Please confirm that you have agreed to forgo all interest or other charges that would otherwise increase my indebtedness so the payments I make reduce the amount outstanding.
I am making every effort to increase my income. As soon as my circumstances change, I will contact you again.
Please forward a paying-in book or standing order form so that I can arrange prompt and regular repayments.
Thank you for your assistance and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Yours faithfully,
Got to say though, I felt like being quite sarcastic in this, I was going to thank them for acknowledging that I actually exist, but my good side got the better of me.:DTescos latest enemy.........0 -
Don't be so down on yourself Nillhouse, it's really hard work getting a new job but I'm sure you'll get there in the end. I don't know what your background is but there seems to be a lot of help for people who are unemployed as far as job clubs etc, where someone could look over your c.v. to see if there is naything you could do to improve, maybe it would help get you tot he interview stage.0
