:j :T Ive got an interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:T :j
Typical, I will get a job, just as the JSA has started coming in.
My only problem I can think of here, is that I may lose Housing benefit and Council Tax Benefit, which I havnt yet recieved since I applied for it back in March.
So, would they back pay, because if they dont, I will be even further in debt than when I started.Tescos latest enemy.........0 -
Ah well, the job hasnt materialised, sod it.
Got two letters from HFC today, One warning me what might happen if I dont keep up repayments(dated 13th June), and another (dated 15th June), stating that a default notice has been served. This cant be fair, I recived both letters today!
Anyway, heres the letter Im gonna send them back:mad:
........................................................................................................
Thank you for your letter, dated 13TH and 15TH June 2006, both received today 19th June 2006.
These letters have again made it obvious to me, that you have either not read any of my other three letters I have sent to you, dated 27th April 2006, 5th May 2006, the 24th May, and the 30th May 2006, also, the various times you have spoken to my fiancée on the telephone, or are ignoring them.
The following is a breakdoen of all the communication I have sent to you by post.
On the,
27th April 2006 – I sent you my first letter, explaining my situation, and asking for certain account details, which would enable me to move forward with repayments.
THIS LETTER WAS REPLIED TO, ON THE 18TH MAY, THANK YOU
5th May 2006 – I sent you a second letter, again explaining my situation, and enclosing a breakdown of my incomings/outgoings, and offering a token payment to be made each month, and asking for a paying-in book/standing order form, so I could start making these payments to you.
THIS LETTER IS BEING / HAS BEEN IGNORED
24th May 2006 – I sent you a third letter, answering your call for my financial details to be sent to you, I stated, that I already have done, and you would find these details attatched to my letter to you dated 5th May 2006, also, that I would be more than happy to resend these details, if you have mislaid them.
This is also the first time I asked you not to telephone me, and only communicate via post.
THIS LETTER IS BEING / HAS BEEN IGNORED
30th May 2006 – My fourth letter to you stated that I found it pain fully obvious that you were ignoring my letters, and that you were continuing to telephone me, which I had previously asked you to stop as it was frightening my partner.
Cont…
Cont….
I also asked you to stop sending me threatening letters, as I had proposed a solution to my problems, but you would not acknlowedge this.
I also stated, again, the token amount I was able to pay.
THIS LETTER IS BEING / HAS BEEN IGNORED
I can not understand why you are refusing to communicate with me, I have written to you many times, to try and resolve these issues, Why am I being ignored?
This morning I received two letters from you, One detailing a notice of default.
The other asking me to be aware of possible consequences of not resuming repayments on my account.
You are ignoring my offers of payment! Why are you sending me these letters? Why am I receiving both letters on the same day?
Please stop sending me these threatening letters, as I have proposed a solution to my problem, however, you will not even acknowledge that I have.
Again, my previous letters included a comprehensive statement of affairs, and a request that my creditors accept a token payment from me of £1 per month to repay this account.
If you have mislaid these details, again, I will be more than happy to send another copy to you.
You will see that I keep good records of all communication I have with my creditors, you will also see that I have, time and time again, tried to resolve this situation with you.
This letter is being sent via recorded delivery.
I will also ask again that all future correspondence will be made to me by post.
I, again, look forward to a constructive and helpful response this time.
Yours Faithfully,
...............................................................................
Im really getting depressed with these !!!!!!, and if anything, Im hoping they will take me to court, so I can show Ive been trying to communicate with them, Im so fed up!Tescos latest enemy.........0 -

Hi Nillhouse,
The key to it seems to getting a job. Hopefully you are healthy / able to work ?
What typre of job did you used to do / what can you do / enjoy doing ?
What steps are you taking to find a job ? what area do you live in ?
(sorry to be nosy, just with that info, maybe I can point you in the right direction)0 -

Hi, I dont think you are being nosy at all, thanks for your interest.
I am healthy and able to work, I have had a variety of jobs, and up until March, had one I really enjoyed,(cant say that about many jobs),however, the factory I was working in was barely keeping its head above water, and basicly sacked me for being off sick one time too many, they couldnt support my attendence.
On the subject of finding another job,
I am a 32year old male, with no real education, (all GCSEs graded at less than D).
My only real qualification is that Im a Skilled Baker.
I have worked in Supermarkets, one job temping in an office, have been a shopfitter, Ive even have had one job working on building site.
I visit local Jobcentre once a fortnight to sign on and use their machines to search for job,(however, my local jobcentre is 7 miles away, and only displays jobs in that area and further north).
I check Jobcentre website EVERYDAY,(It is my currant homepage on the internet).
I check Local Papers,(we have three in Glastonbury), everyweek.
When I was first made unemployed, I walked shop to shop in town, and the next town to us, asking for employment, but nobody wants to employ someone who will, probally(in their eyes), take the !!!!!! and be off sick every other day.
Which wouldnt happen,
If Ive been off, its been genuine, I was quite ill about three years ago, in hospital for a couple of weeks, (blood poisoning), and been through quite a lot of emotional unheaval over the last couple of years, (we lost our son Jon, shortly before he was due to be born), and basicly I went a bit doolally, but thats besides the point, Ive just have been quite suseptable to illnesses, and whenever there has been something going around, Id be the one to get it.
Sorry for rambling, but once I start typing I cant stop, lolTescos latest enemy.........0 -
Nillhouse, sorry you're having such a bad year. if it's any consolation you're nearly half way through it!
Have you no job agencies in your area that you could try, even if it's just seasonal work? Although realise you are probably frightened to muck up JSA now you have it.
Have you recived your CTB and HB yet? If not, you need to motivate yourself to get this sorted out (I know it's hard when you feel everyone and everything is against you. But the people on here are on your side). If it is not sorted get in touch with your local councillor NOW - you'll find his details on the council's website. And write to your MP, copying in the Director of Finance at the council. This WILL get results, I promise you!
What about your tax rebate - have you you applied for this, and if not, do it NOW!!!!!
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/r40.pdf Her's the link for the form you have to complete so no excuses!!
Good luck, hope things look up soon.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
