    _party_

Okay, bit of an announcement. NIM and I are holding an engagement party on the 3rd October. NIMs birthday is the 4th so it covers that too! Anyone on facebook has already got an invite, but we would like to open up the invite to all our friends on here to come celebrate with us. I realise it's a long way for most people, but just if anyone wants to come, please do. We're up between Stockton and Sedgefield if this helps you work out if it is too far. Lots of food will be provided, and we're going to have fireworks after dark. Should be a fun party and it would be lovely to see any of you there.

Poolie - sounds like your OH got some bargains! Bit of a nightmare about the traffic though!

It is nothing more than I expected at 5:45 trying to get to London. At least the London CarPark (M25) was moving last night. There was a jam up ahead but our turn off was just before it so was lucky with timing. Dont know what all the traffic was about on M4 apart from looking at a broken down car.

Just found out that OH has been looking on rightmove for at houses to rent already. Thought it would be me that found it hard living with his parents, but hes getting really fed up! Think its mainly due to his sister. Shes 22 but acts like a 5 year old, she hasnt worked for about 3 years now and scrounges off her parents. Shes very rarely at home but when she is she goes out of her way to cause arguements.
Think in the time that we have been living away OH has forgotten what shes like and its taking a bit of getting used to for him!

Incidentally, don't see 'Away we go', seems plots are an added bonus but not nessisary nowadays.

I really want to see that Away We Go, eek! - but then I liked Napoleon Dynamite and that has zero plot line. Is it funny at least?

The wedding party sounds lovely - is that the one with the piggy?
I've been meaning to ask you something actually!! I bought a book called 'a modern girls guide to getting married' (or something) from a charity shop to scare OH a bit ago. Was wondering if you wanted it?

Flower - That's going to be a great chunk off the credit card! Does your OH get paid weekly?

Got up early this morning to take my dog to the vets, she's having an op on her ear to remove cyst, poor pooch! Thankfully my parents said they'll cover the bill and I can pay them back £10 a week or something. OH took us to weatherspoons for breakfast afterwards to cheer me up - we were there at 9:30 and there was a group of about 4 lads staggering about completely tight! There were quite a lot of people sat around the bar nursing a fosters actually. But then our Weatherspoons is right across from the Job Centre so I suppose they might be drowning their sorrows?

Yes he gets paid every Friday, so we have decided basically whatever is left every payday will go to the credit cards.

Hope your dog is ok! I hate taking my cat to the vets, even if its just a check up i get all worried and teary. OH jokes that im a big softy but think its because i know shes starting to get old!! So i just spoil her rotton!
