My pooch is back from the vets, she's fine just feeling a bit sorry for herself. I owe my parents £40 for the op as they said they'll pay the rest because she's pretty much a family dog. Can't complain with that!0 -

Thats good news about your parents paying some of the bill. My mum still sends me half of the money i need for our cats vet bills. We've had her since i was 10 so mum still sees her as her cat aswell, always tell her not to send the money but she always sends a cheque - cant complainBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Hi everyone! Made it home from the badlands unscathed (sorry Cinny and Flower - or was it Tink?
) - the conference centre which colleague described as being 'like Guantanamo Bay' was actually really nice. Ate a big buffet of the battered variety for lunch though so might be another non-weight-loss week, though I did try to offset it with the lovely fresh pineapple
Fireworks and no-dead-pig-on-a-stick sounds good, must double check the date in my busy diary  which is not in the immediate vicinity ... can tyou tell I've been on the train for four hours?Besides which if it is nice weather on Saturday I really want to take NIM to the forbidden corner for a nice day out.
Tried to find this a couple of years ago and couldn't, must try harder, everyone raves about it!all the planning for OHs trip to Aus.

Morning everyone!!
Glad you made it out of Nottingham alive Tete! I don't think Nottingham is as bad as people make out.. but then I stay around the Playhouse area so maybe I just go to the nice parts?
Got my pooch at work with me today cause she's not meant to be left alone. Her ear looks so bad bless her, like a slice of cheese! Knackered though, my cat decided to wake me up at 3am by bopping a dead mouse on it's head, repeatedly. It was more than disturbing. Not made any better by me frantically scrubbing anywhere the mouse might have touched at 3:15 this morning.
Need some savings account help though please!! Anybody know of any good long(ish) term savers?! Want to start a little moving out fund in an account I'm not at all tempted to touch (unlike my esaver!)0
