NIM - Certainly not fair of Dell to close at 8pm. Shame you got into trouble from Dinah. Did she give you a hug after find out or were you verbally beaten?

I think you have the wrong person about the servers. Mine have been fine and all behaving now (saying that they will hear and start playing up - they have ears). I think you want Poodle.

Naughty NIM. My OH plays on there too though and often find him playing when he should have done washing up etc hehe. I hate it when you wait to speak to someone for them to shut.

I am feeling a bit rough this morning, got a lovely cold.
  • Morning all. Oh dear poor NIM! I hate being kept on hold it's so frustrating, or when they give you a really really long message and read the data protection act to you and then say sorry we're closed after 5 minutes on the phone! Gah!

Poor Wendz, get well soon :(

I'm trying to get caught up on emails etc before I head off to Nottingham this aft for meeting tomorrow :( Don't want to go, it's such a chew from here, takes about 4 hours on the train :( Got a bit of work stuff to read through but hoping to get my book finished :)

Crikey, pretty quiet on here today. Hope everyone's okay!

Well done on getting under 20k Poddle, that's a real benchmark! Isn't that about 10k paid off too?

Tete - Are you going to Nottingham Trent Uni tomorrow? Or did I make up the idea of you working at a Uni?!

Used my MSE magic yesterday and drew up a budget for OH - we really need to get rid of his debts and get him saving if we want to move out before I'm 40  The budget looks dandy though, he'll be able to pay off a good chunk of his debt and still have a decent amount to spend each week. Just a matter of him actually sticking to it..

Got my £20 HMV though! Put it on my online account and being sensible saving it for Christmas.
  • Hi Cinny, I do work for a uni but it's an external project putting on courses for teachers, all funded by the National College for School Leadership, whose headquarters are in Nottingham.

What's OH's DFD then? Forgot to say well done to Poddle, must feel brilliant!

I think Dinah said she was off on a course today, maybe that's why it's quiet? I'm off in a min too, wish me luck on the mean streets of the crime capital of the country!

Hey hey, nothing wrong with Nottingham!

Okay, there's quite a lot wrong with Nottingham but because I'm from the Shire I feel the need to stick up for it - Good Luck!

Well he hasn't told me how much is actually on his CC, but going from what I know along with his overdraft he *should* be debt free by next Jun/Jul.. she says! Eek.

My brain is not working properly today, meant to say well done Poddle!

How much has your OH got to pay off Cinny if you don't mind me asking?

I don't mind! I'm (hopefully) over estimating at £1800. I think it's going to be hard work because he hasn't really had a lightbulb moment over it, but hopefully just the thought of being able to move out once he's debt free will be enough.

I don't remember Dinah saying she was going on a course, I do have a mind like a goldfish though so that could be it!

That is the problem isn't it, if he doesn't realise what a problem it is then he won't do much about it. Hopefully you can help him though! £1800 isn't too bad. How long will it take him to pay that off based on your budget?

I'd say 9/10 months but that might be pushing it. I think if he had the oomph behind him he could do it in that time frame easily - I mean dinah did 10x that debt in less than 9 months! But we're majorly jinxed money wise so who knows?
