Just had text off an old friend of OHs, basically she decided from day one that i wasnt good enough for him and made it perfectly clear she didnt like me. She just sent a message saying "i heard u were back in the area, thought he would have come to his senses by now and got rid of u for good". You would think after 4 years she would just accept we're together and love each other

What a disgusting, horrible individual. Why is she still in his life? If someone spoke to me like that NIM would have told them to take a long walk on a short pier. Urgh, that makes my blood boil!

Oh hes made his feelings perfectly clear towards her. But every now and then we get messages off her. About two years ago i finally lost it with her and we had a big fight and apparently i showed my 'true colours', she then told him to pick between me and his friends (although none of his other friends gave this ultimatum). Its really difficult because they have the same group of friends, i just dont understand what her problem is.

Hello all! And congratulations CMD! A baby in our clan, how exciting!
Been in a meeting all morning, new job starts on Friday (randomly!) so we've been figuring out a plan of action which basically means working 8-5 next week and maybe even later until everything is sorted and people know what they're doing- I may be quiet!
Funnily enough last night OH and I actually made a little headway with the wedding planning- I found our work benefits book and we get 7% off Thomson holidays and 10% off First Choice off the brochure price, including published early booking discounts so we can book the wedding as soon as the brochure for Feb 2011 comes out and get early booking discount and the extra money off! Whoop! There are loads of travel companies listed and it allows friends and family to take advantage of the offers so if anyone wants any more info you know where I am!
Oooh, and I think it'll be really nice if you get married the same day as your parents did Dinah, it worked for them! As long as they don't feel that you're stealing their thunder!

I took so long writing my post (got distracted!) that I didn't see your message about OH's 'Friend' Flower. God, what a cow! Even if you hate your friend's OH (OH certainly hates one his best friend's GF!) you keep quiet because there must be a reason they're together and as long as the friend is happy you leave it! I wouldn't dream of saying something like that- she must be some sort of sociopath!
