No plans as such for the actual day. OH and i are going out for the day, then we are going out for a meal with all his family. At the weekend i am going to see my family, and then going to see some friends on the way back.
Doesnt really make sense to have a big party as my family live about an hour n a half drive away and obviously all my uni friends live all over the place.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Morning everyone,
I have had an exciting morning of the dentist where my teeth were fine, but they thought I should have an xray just in case. I swear they do these things to bump the cost up. He was also talking about some things to put on my two top front teeth to even them out, am actually quite seriously considering it.
Went to hairdressers to have a skin test as am dying my hair brown again on Friday, have been blonde for about 6 years so this is very scary to me!
Anyway with all this hair and teeth stuff I am hoping to look like a supermodel soon haha.
Flower - I would be the same with a box! 21st that is an exciting birthday as well.0 -
:rotfl::rotfl:I have to admit i am still like a big kid when it comes to birthdays. And i know its going to be something special coz its my 21st. Im pretty sure my parents have sent something up aswell which OHs mum is guarding with her life.
I always thought you were mature and sensible! 21, tsk, just a bairn!

Morning Wendz, is it veneers you're getting? And very brave going back to brown after all that time - is that your natural colour? It's definitely lower maintenance being as close to natural as possible! Can't be bothered with any faff in my old age!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Hi Dinah,
Found your third thread! Just wanted to say congrats to you both on your engagement. Your ring looks beautiful. My friend has a similar one and it look very elegant on!
Also thanks for the tip on the OU vacancies. My area (health and social care) seems to pay quite well (scale 7) so will look into this when I have the baby in February as I don't want to return to work full-time.
Have fun with the dress hunting, it's such a fun part of planning a wedding!

Veneers were mentioned. Think is something slightly similar but not the same , will have to be redone in about 5-8 years though. My teeth do make me paranoid so will be nice to fix them a bit.
My natural colour is brown so should look OK, will just be a shock to me as I am used to being blonde. No-one will recognise me hehe. Saw one of my best friends in the hairdresser as well, how random. Is like being a lady of leisure.0 -
Didn't realise you were expecting a baby CMD - huge congrats! The closing date for the intake for the courses starting in May varies, but is between October 1st and January so make sure you don't miss the deadline if you are interested.
NIM and I have been advised to avoid July and August when the kids are off, as lots of people will be away. I would have thought a years notice is probably getting in before they book holidays but never mind! So we're now thinking maybe next September, give us a full years planning, and honeymoon should be a little cheaper too since its after the peak peak season?! Will come down to when the venue we want has availability I guess. There are 4 Saturdays in September, the 4th, the 11th, the 18th, and the 25th. The 11th is a good friend of mines anniversary, so would try to avoid that. Plus the whole twin towers affiliation. The 25th is my parents anniversary I think, wouldn't rule it out on those grounds though, they've had a great 28 years so far, so might be a lucky date!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ah, to be 21... That's very exciting Flower! I'm far too curious for surprises
Eek, good luck with the hair, Wendz! Must be a huge shock going from blonde! My hair just varies from dark brown to black to very dark brown to dark mahogany to... anyway, you get the picture!
Congratulations CMD! Long time, no posthope you're enjoying pregnancy so far!
