oh yeah plus birdie, BUY THAT DRESS!!!!! Can you not bid on it and if you win it for a reasonable price put it on a CC and then do everything extra to make the money? like the £10 a day challenge.. NSD challenge..?
(are you sure it will fit, have you tried one on allready?)

Well if you all say I should...

I've tried one on just like it (a different designer but the same style) and it fit like a dream. The girl selling it says that she's 5'7", size 10 but had it let out a little around the hips as she's a bit curvy- just like me! It can be altered a bit to make it perfect for me too. I spoke to OH last night and he said we can put it on his CC if I really want it, I think he's just impressed I've found something for less than £800! I think I'm going to go for it!

Was sewing class fun last night girls? Are you ready to start making bridesmaid dresses?!

Yay! :T Is it an auction or BIN?
I know weigh day was yesterday but I was curious and jumped on the scales this morning and am happy to report I have now lost my full stone! :)

Well done Tete! :T Clapping all round! :D

My foot is killing me! I've bruised the top of it and I can't put shoes on and it hurts to walk. :( I'm not at uni today cuz I'm resting it, but I'm on a gallery visit with the uni tomorrow so I need it to be better by then!

Some moneysaving news... I opened some chicken I had bought for tea last night, and it stank! So I took it back to the nearest little Tesco and she gave me a small pack of chicken breasts as a gesture as she couldn't take my stinky chicken back. Then we took it back to the proper store and they gave me 2 packs of the chicken. Yay for free chicken! :D

I weighed myself this morning and have lost 3 lbs woo! Very happy with that.

That is good about the chicken Zig, is expensive so great you got some free.

Birdie - go for the dress, sounds like a bargain to me

I'd say go for it Birdie, if it's your dream dress £300 isn't much at all! If you want to be MSE with it you could always join the £5 a day challenge or something like Tink said :3

Well done on the 1st loss Tete! :T I guess after all that dieting 1 brownie won't hurt.

I'm so bored! Already worked up after 2 hours.. only 7 more to go (yay?) I think the postie is on his way up the path though so that should keep me busy for a while.. on the bright side I've made £1.35 from free clicks on Quidco. Baby steps and all :D

ETA: Yay for all the free Chicken Zig!

Are there any other watchers? Hopefully it won't end up being a bidding war!

Well done on the 3lb loss Wendz, that's really good!

Cinny, you're working a long day aren't you?! Or is that normal and I've become too used to the student lifestyle.. :o

I'm gonna go have some crumpets... they're only like 1 WW point each! :D

    Morning!

Birdie, can I add my fully-fledged support that you go for the dress - it's beautiful! And long term MSE...

Lara, I meant to ask how your wedding plans were coming along, sounds like you're getting things sorted in your mind which is a good start :) I think food will be a major factor at our wedding too - I have to say that most wedding food is a bit of a let down, unless you like overcooked chicken and mass-produced fondant potato...

Tink, your life sounds manic at the moment - hope the interview went better than you thought, £500 would be a nice little bonus, but well done for getting selected in the first place! I can't believe you're going to Zimbabwe for work - wow!

Well done on the weight loss, Tete and Wendz! I keep finding life is getting in the way of my dieting - I'm going up to Brum at the weekend to meet up with my uni friends and I imagine that it will involve lots of eating, drinking and a healthy dose of nostalgia and I'm really looking forward to it!

Poor Cinny, welcome to the real world! Although, they sound like proper long days - I wouldn't like to start at 7.30am! It's bad enough starting at 9.30...

Dinah, have you had any more thoughts about the wedding/house situation? If you've made up your mind about the wedding and don't want to move the date, then go for it! But surely you'll have to compromise in some way, maybe renting for the first year, buying a smaller place or taking out a loan. Have you spoken to an independent mortgage advisor about debts and deposits? I know it was 18 months ago, but we were told debts wouldn't be deducted off LTV or deposit as long as our repayments were manageable. Just a thought... Good luck :)
