It is lovely Cinny, but I do fancy something long and swishy as you don't get to swish very often in life!
I spotted my dream wedding dress a few weeks ago when I got browsing after a link on here, nothing like I thought I'd want but I fell in love with it. Can't remember what it was called or anything now though to show you.
Oh dear. At least you have an indication of a proposal Wendz!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
(there i go talking like I am actually engaged again haha).
:rotfl: I really hope your OH isn't joking! Then we get more wedding plans!
Cinny I love that dress! I always thought that I want a big fancy dress, but cuz me and OH want to get married abroad on our own, I'm thinking a smaller dress would be better.
I do like this one though.

A girl on my Flickr account got married in Las Vegas in a Betsey Johnson dress and she looked amazing, so it's always stuck in my head. I love the idea of going abroad on your own to get married, I don't think I'd have the guts to do it though!
Work is so slow this afternoon. Up to £2.38 with my money making today, I'm seriously raking it in aren't I? I don't know what I'm going to do with all this extra money in all honesty...0 -
Ha, I'm impressed with your money-making skills today Cinny!
Well, if I'm completely honest, I would love to have a proper family wedding. But the two sides of my family don't get on. They've said they'd be nice cuz it's my wedding. But I know they'd be chucking evil looks round the room! And I wouldn't be able to relax. It does make me feel a bit sad though that my Mum wouldn't be there. If I invited her it'd be a case of other people saying it's unfair and they want to come. I'm thinking about a wedding that isn't even in the pipeline!

I think Dinah and NIM are still looking at Venues this week? Not sure though! ETA: Or maybe in fabric heaven!! Do you know if they're still looking at Venues Tete? Or have they decided on the dream one they saw earlier this week?
You could say you need someone there as a witness and take your Mum along (: Thankfully OH wants a small wedding like I do, just our nearest and dearest! I keep on pricing everything up and get all giddy when it barely passes 3.5k for the venue with food, drinks ect and paying for everyone to stay in a hotel nearby for the nights before and after the Wedding. Good Ol' Gretna Green!
ETA: Haha, just got my first email on dooyoo from that Devil guy. I feel like I'm finally part of the DooYoo community!0 -
LOL Tete, that Boyes store really is fabric heaven! Although you can't beat John Lewis in Newcastle for gorgeous fabric and accessories, I always want to be able to sew when I walk around that department!
I'm liking all of the dresses! And thanks girls for keeping an eye on my dress! If someone else gets it can I count on you to join my angry mob to steal it?!
Wendz, I like the idea of getting your guests to fill in a song request with their RSVP! We could do that with our England evening party invites, but ask for people's favourite holiday songs to keep in with the theme!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Good idea about the witness thing! Just remembered that OH's mum had a good idea and said that just her and my Mum go. Then there can be no favourites!
Will your OH discuss weddings with you? My OH will which is nice! We think we're gonna go on a really good holiday for like 3 weeks and get married while we're over there. No party or anything! We'll probs have separate gatherings with friends/family when we get back but nothing that would be organised. Saves money and hassleWe'd rather have a house than a wedding. As long as I get a pretty dress and some decent food then I'm happy!

Oooh Lara you're so spolit for choice for venues, how will you choose?! You've got such cool friends by the sound of it, too cool for us girls!
No no, it was all MSE really because those are the venues we could actually afford!!! And friends I thought we could rope in, to save us some money. I love my MSE girlie chats, and wouldn't be without them.
Fabric heaven, LOL! I have got big fingers and toes crossed for your dress Birdie.
No twirly martins for me today as I just went to the Apple store and bought the laptop eeeek! Have a good day everyone.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

From what I can gather, they think they've narrowed it down enough and don't want to see any more, I think they cancelled them all even though they went back to the Wynyard.ETA: Haha, just got my first email on dooyoo from that Devil guy. I feel like I'm finally part of the DooYoo community!

Ooh I know, JL bit more expensive than Boyes though! Like the idea of the holiday songs! And you could serve exotic cocktails and stuff! (You know, just to keep costs down!). Still no bids on your dresszigmeister wrote: »Good idea about the witness thing! Just remembered that OH's mum had a good idea and said that just her and my Mum go. Then there can be no favourites!
