Tete - I am a bit panicky about how much money I have left for the month, bit silly when you think some people have nothing after bills etc but seems hard for me.

That is exciting Flower - I love New York

    Hi all.

I'm still alive. Just. Cold is really kicking my !!!. We went to view 5 venues today and I had to nap in between some of them I felt so rubbish. But on the plus side, we think we've found it. Pictures really don't do it justice, its stunning and really well done out. Why they used a picture of the darkest, most dated bedroom is beyond me! If you click on the 'our bedrooms' tab, the first room, pale blue with a big four poster is the bridal suite. It's not MSE at all, in fact its as expensive as the other non MSE one we liked a few weeks ago, but the customer service is 100x better, they're really friendly and keen to fit to your day, and we can have a Friday which while not a Saturday is still better than a Tuesday! So we're provisionally booked for Friday the 3rd September 2010. Big stuff!

Party was fantastic, really fun night, lots of family and friends turned up and had a really good time. Only problem was I sort of crashed by 10pm as I felt so ill, and most people left by 11pm, and we had LOADS of food left.

Hope your mum is on the mend ROTE.

    Hi Dinah,

Glad you enjoyed your party - not so great that your still not feeling well though! I have been quite lucky in that i have only been feeling rubbish for about 2 days, starting to feel better now.

    That venue looks absolutly gorgeous!

wow Dinah you sound like you aren't very well at all! I'm so glad that the party was fun though! Sounds like it was a really happy time and lots of left overs can't be a bad thing really, you'l just have to pick out the more healthy bits and get inventive old style and eat them for ages!! I hope you haven't pushed yourself too hard this weekend though, you don't want to have to miss work or anything :(

the venue looks lovely, will you have to scrimp on other areas to pay for it? I think a friday is ok for a wedding, and its early enough that any students/children you want to invite might not be back at school yet so they would be able to come maybe?
And then you have longer to rest and relax afterwards!
