My Mam has been back into hospital she had to have a blood transfusion as her blood count was so low. The average women should have a count of between 12 and 14 and hers was 7 so not good. She come out this evening so needs a lot of rest.

Hope your mum is feeling better soon

    Morning Everyone!

How cold is it today? I could see my breath inside my helmet this morning, that's a new one!

CMD - I hope your Mum is okay. x

Waiting to hear from Dinah about her Party :D Hope she's feeling better!!

Finally I'm full of good news! I'm working full time from 13-28th and my Dad says I can claim the same hours my brother does (9 1/2 a day) so should be lots of extra pennies to put into savings/pay off the credit card. Or just to take some pressure off of OH for money. Also, me and OH were talking about how important it was to us to buy over renting. Turns out it isn't that important. So once our debts are cleared we're going to save up a bit and hopefully start looking for our own home next Spring. Yay!

    Morning!

It is freezing today, and I haven't even left the flat yet! I finally have a late start at uni :D

Good news about the extra money Cinny!

My first weigh-in on Wednesday is gonna be awful I know it... There was a family meal round my Dad's last night and he did a 6 course taster meal! But the portions were huge! He did tomatoes in like a cream sauce on toast, then a salad with asparagus, potatoes, quail's egg, parmesan etc, then a small seafood gratin, then taco with veg chilli, salsa, refried beans and salad and half a sweetcorn, then blue cheese with crackers, honey, walnuts and grapes, then finally a chocolate ice cream bomb! With three different types of chocolate ice cream. Was absolutely gorgeous but I feel my diet has been destroyed this week. :o

Good news though, I asked my stepmum about asking her sister in Australia if she could send me over some Uggs, and it turns out she's coming over in a few weeks so she's gonna ask if she can shove them in her case. Yay!

Hope everyone has a good day!

That is great news about the extra hours Cinny. Is funny how what you think you want isn't actually a simportant as you think , like when it comes to buying or renting. I used to always want to buy straight away but don't mind renting now.

I am lonely on my pod at work today as the other girl is on holiday

That's great news Flower! It's nice when things happen that will help you achieve your goals more quickly - same for you Cinny, a full-time wage packet (even for a couple of weeks) will be super good!

Hope everything is okay with your mum, ROTE.

The weather has officially 'turned' here - yesterday it was sunny and clear, today it's grey and solid drizzle, boo! But on the bright side I can wear snug winter clothes - yay!

Morning everyone! Hope you all had lovely weekends! Dinah, how was the party?! Sorry I couldn't make it in the end, Saturday was a bit of a chewy-all-over-the-place day!

Poddle, I'm so jealous of your safari and second whoever demanded photos!

Lara - Hurrah to work calming down and to writing a cheque for which you had the funds! Hope you're enjoying uni again - have you decided about the laptop?

Well done on the job Flower and fingers crossed for the supervisor position - do you start next week then?

ROTE- hope your Mam's feeling better soon, that has given me a kick up the bum to actually book an appointment to give blood instead of just thinking about it all the time.

Cinny, good news on the extra work, the extra money will make a big difference. Looks like you and I will be looking for love nests around the same time next year then :)

Zig, that meal sounds amazing! I'm dreading the weigh in a bit as well, had a bad weekend with pizza, curry, cakes... Went to Whitby yesterday but unfortunately I don't think my walking up the 199 steps non-stop was enough to counteract the Yorkshire cream tea and Magpie fish and chips :o Though I am wearing what was a very tight pair of trousers today, and they aren't tight anymore!

Ooh and I started on my decluttering last night - found 193 pens in my bottom drawer (I kid you not) - feel lots better that that little corner of my room at least is nice and minimal :)
