I have an O2 one month contract - £10 per month for 150 mins and 300 texts I think, but I keep going over that so I'm thinking of moving to the 12 month contract for £20 - you get more than double what I'm getting now I think and £100 cashback at the mo... still toying with it. Those are both SIM only though (I get OH's cast-offs :D)

Tete, I just signed up for that! I was on a 1 month simplicity plan, but wanted the £100 cashback! It's 800 mins and 1600 texts for £20 a month. Plus £100 cashback, and £10 on one of their new cash manager card things. I'm not sure if you can negotiate on this though like you do Wendz. Will be good if you can! The cashback is only on for the next 2 days though! I think it's a good deal if you don't need a new phone. I'm getting my OH's iphone in a couple of months so it's good for me :)

Ooh, thanks for saying that I wouldn't have realised. I think I am going to go for it - My bill last month was £26 so I'd be able to text away ....

Well I've been hunting for the best deal for my brother, hes after unlimited texts, a few minutes, and a camera, for under £20 a month. Orange online have a 200 mins/unlimited texts package for £19.57 a month which seems to fit the bill, have just asked him to pick the phone then I can order it, and should get £150 cashback through quidco for my time :D

That's a good cashback deal Dinah! I think I saw that on Quidco, but want to stay with O2 cuz everyone I know is with them and it's unlimited calls to other O2 phones!

Two days until the final weigh in for the 'loose a stone in 3 months' challenge, hows everyone feeling about it?

I'm a bit worried I won't make the £10 a day challenge either. We have £105 on the way from MSs, but not sure if it will arrive in time. If it does we'll be pretty much there. If it doesn't we're stuffed, but will start next month hugely ahead!

Well I'm hungry so hopefully that's a good indicator! I don't know, I've lost almost a stone but it doesn't feel like it- it sounds such a lot but I don't really feel that different TBH.

    Swings and roundabouts then!

I am aiming this year not to fall into my usual trap of looking at what I've got people and thinking it's not enough, and buying more and more bits! It always ends up so expensive considering I only have 5 adults and a baby to buy for!

I do that too! Trying so hard not to do that this year, saying that I only have 4 things left to do/get now, 2 bits for my dad, a gift set for OH and to get the prints I bought framed. Holding off with the wrapping though - I normally do that when they first show Annie on channel 4. I'm so sad :o

Not looking forward to the last weigh in! I've been maintaining my little half a stone loss but it's coming up to TOTM so I know I'm going to be a complete whale come Sunday :(
  • Oh no. I've done a moneysaving boob :( We had the Scottish Power capped tarriff which was in the email a few weeks ago as they were automatically moving you on to a new locked in tarriff and Martin said don't let them as it'll be more expensive and it's not fair that they're doing it. We had September to switch, which I've started to put in motion but today I've had an email from SP saying they've moved us onto the new tarriff and now I'll have to pay a fee to get out of it, I didn't read the email properly in the first place - what I should have done is changed onto their normal tarriff and then switched, so now going to have to pay a fee. Gah! I hate it when you try your best to do something and then it goes wrong and you end up paying more :(

    Sorry, venting there :(

Challenge was 'end of September' Cinny, so you might avoid whaleness since we're weighing in on Wednesday?!
