Ohh speaking of flats/houses. Showed my Mum the flats that OH and I are interested in and she thinks it is a good idea as we can do the key worker scheme. They lend you up to half the money and you get a mortgage for the rest. You have to pay them interest each year, but isn't as high as mortgage interest would be. Then you just pay them the money back when you sell the flat. Would mean we could get a lower mortgage which would be good. Is annoying though because you have to get the maximum mortgage you can get, i don't know if this means with one company or with all companies. We know we can get a high mortgage so would be annoying if that stopped as getting helped as much. Anyway we are going to go down there one day and have a look and ask some questions about all the finances etc.

I think I might be hugely missing the diet goal, I feel very tubby this week.

I sat and ate a full big bag of Minstrels whilst watching Dirty Dancing last night ...

Don't hide that statement Tete! It makes me feel less like I'm the only one whose diet week isn't going so well!

Thanks for that Dinah! You're like a human calculator! I personally think a 130k house is going to be majorly out of reach for us, but we can try. Aim high and whatnot.
As for that flat, I've tried ringing the Estate Agents this morning and I think I have the number wrong! Ho-hum.
OHs allergy is a bit worse than sniffles though, worse than I thought really. He came out in a massive rash this weekend after I didn't shake the duvet properly when Pips had been on it most of the day - the kind of rash I come out in if I get too close to a guinea pig. Was not pretty!

Wendz - the Key Worker thing sounds good. So lucky your OH is getting you some uggs! I'm all excited to get mine, I think they should be here tomorrow. Eee :D

ETA: Just got off the phone from my Gramps. Was meant to be helping him in the Garden today for some extra pocket money but he says there isn't as much to do as he thought. Got a whole afternoon to myself now - what to do?!

I don't think its out of your reach, but I do think maybe your OH has a tough target to get, where yours isn't so much of a push and you're a better saver, so it might be that either you buy all the stuff to go in the house, or you put in more deposit than he does.

When is Mondays always a pain with the Banking. You never know exactly where money is till after the banking day finishes.

Got lots of things waiting to clear. Finally sold one of my test routes for tomtom. These routes allow learner drivers to practise the routes and give a fairly accurate description as you would get on your driving test.

Was also waiting for my quidco money to go to payable and it just has.

£3.44 for last month. Roll on next month as the scheme has worked well and £12.76 due beginning of November plus whatever else I can squeeze in between now and the 30th.

Hi guys glad to see everyones ok apart from it being monday morning I guess!!
I've just had a lovely weekend with the OH and he's going tomorrow but now I'm back at uni and everything I am really worried about how/when I am going to see him and the expense of it :( Major not good times :(
We have had a good weekend though and he's still here till tomorrow morning. I had a bit of a spendy week last week and this weekend though, just as it was freshers week, and I had to pay for my bus pass for uni and I bought OH a top for his birthday next week (this one!) and all sorts of little spends which keep adding up but today is the first proper day of term and I am hoping everything will change! a little bit too scared to look at the CC balance at the moment though!! I do want to work out a budget and everything, so once I've got some ideas for it ill probs post on here and you guys will help me make it better!

So the rest of my post just got deleted when firefox crashed but hey ill post the basics (sorry I dont have time to do it again!)

Cinny - I love the clothes, some good choices on there! Dinah you better be posting pics so we can see your new things!!

I have been nominated for a prize at uni for being top of my year and I might get it *fingers crossed!* It would be £500 but the qudos on the cv etc is well worth it!!

I have started (and nearly finished) a grad scheme application form! Just have to find another one now for this week but they are so complicated and tedious!

I've writen some dooyoo rewievs, they aren't very good (as people keep telling me!) but hey! I'm trying!! Can anyone send me their usernames so I can check out their reviews please? (and get them some points for reading too!?)

I am also going to check up on bingoport, I need to get back into it i think to get some vouchers for christmas!! And I keep getting redeems cancelled because I dont play enough! :(

Off to check online banking!! eeek!
