That baby is scarily huge! I'm afraid for the baby next to it in the picture, it may get squashed if Mega Baby turns over! Or eaten!
Zig, any reason why you want your name in Khmer? Do you have links to Cambodia? (Check me getting my Wiki on!)

I was impressed then until I kept reading!
I have family over thereI've been twice and I love it. Just feels like a second home. The people and whole place is incredible! Plus it helps that I like the style of their writing!

I know mega baby is my worst nightmare. Poor mother.
Class was really good although absolutely everyone finished before Tete and I! We have to record each class in a folder or book or something so we remember what we did, and we need to start to construct a mood board for our first piece of clothing. Already!!!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

:rotfl:
The class sounds good! Was everyone at the same kinda stage? How funny that you get homework! Sounds like it will be worthwhile though.
ETA - I know how you feel now Dinah when you're looking on RightMove. I just thought I'd have a quick look and I've seen the most perfect house for us in the perfect area and it's only £120k. I feel gutted! Hopefully there'll be something similar when we can look properly!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I'm sorry but half of them are clearly not beginners and are obviously only in that class to boost their egos. And it wasn't our fault the thread kept snapping in the machine (yes we are the class dunces). I enjoyed it though - we learnt 3 different types of seam, loads more than I would have thought for a first lesson. I'm worried though because I can't go next week, I'll go in the week after and Dinah will have made a frock!
Hi Birdie, nice to see you. Rubbish work! Get yourself a tattoo - that R one sounds lovely!
My points are still missing too Cinny, how annoying

That really annoys me! When me and my mum went to a so called 'beginners' pottery class we were sat there slowly making tiny pots out of clay rolls while the woman next to me was making a freakin' castle! And the woman across was making bookends, bloody show offs.
Glad you enjoyed it though (: The mood board sounds fun!
Birdie - I don't think you'd regret that tattoo! It's not like a Koi Carp or whatever, it actually means something. Plus it's a colour tattoo and as far as I'm aware colour tattoos fade anyways? So it wouldn't really be a forever thing.
Just got into work, I'm really sleepy and not too sure why! My mum has offered to take my money into town to put in the bank though so at least when I get home I can snuggle up for a bit and watch a movie.
ETA: Still no dooyoo points! Seen Tete rated some of my reviews but I haven't even got points for them(thanks though Tete!!) has anyone emailed them?

bloody show offs.
Well exactly! Grr.
I'm sleepy too this morning, think I got too much sleep last night if that's possible.
Just done a quick search and come across this thread - seems like everyone has lost their dooyoo points so definitely a glitch. I just hope dooyoo don't turn around and say "sorry folks, we have no record of what you all had so you'll all have to start again from scratch" - I don't think I would to be honest!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
No I'd be really angry, NIM was at cashout level, we were just waiting on some to be validated, and I had over 10,000. Have you seen that thread, one woman had over £220!!! I always cashout and store the points in Amazon, I figure they are less likely to go down. Was very angry when I lost my mii-points when they folded a few months back.
They were real show offs, but I still think we'll learn a lot so will just ignore them! Not looking forward to measurements day next week.

I had over £30 redeemable too, but I'm saving for a book set that costs £50 so was saving them up to withdraw all at once as I didn't know how long the Amazon vouchers last once you've got them. I will be really annoyed as I do put quite a lot of work into my reviews so it'll be a lot of wasted time.
I'm going to miss measurement week but I don't trust myself to do it so will just have to do it the week after. I hope they teach us how to alter clothes as I'm hoping to be thinner than this by the time my garment's finished!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
£220?! I bet as soon as she gets her points back she redeems! I only had about 11000 points but still, pretty darn annoying. I think I'll just keep on writing reviews in word then when the site is back up giving points I'll slowly start dripping them in.
I'm sure you'll pick the sewing up really easily, and by the end of the class you'll be 10 times better than all the show off people! If they sit there thinking they know it all they won't be taking in what the teacher is saying, and most likely forget the little things. That's what I found in the pottery class anyways!0
