That is with getting the money out the bank, passing it over and me putting it in my bank account. OH can be painfully slow at doing things and might not even remember until the end of the weekend, then I won't be able to get to the bank until next Wednesday hence the week! Will ask him about a possible banks transfer though, might mean I can just meet the target.
Saying that about OH I think he's had his lightbulb moment! He set himself a mini target of clearing his credit card before Christmas. Haven't pushed him on his OD though, don't want to ruin the moment!0 -
Aye baby steps. Its good that hes doing that though. Most of the major banks do online transfers now in under 2 hours.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Cinny - it took my OH till two days ago to pay me the rest of his rent money for this month . Have made progress though and he has paid me for next month already as he gets paid on the 20th.
Dinah - the childminding sounds like a great idea for you once you ahve your home etc.0 -
You know how we were talking about baby weights earlier? Just saw this about a 19lb baby! Click
Thanks for that Dinah - I'll have a word with OH about it tonight/tomorrow. My sister has given me the £90 she owes me though so I'll be putting that in the bank tomorrow!
Anyone got their dooyoo points back? My are still at zero!0 -
Hello! How is everyone? I hate stupid work making me miss MSE time!
Dinah, I think Childminding is definitely a good career to think about in the future, I'm sure if you're qualified people won't be too worried if you're not a mother, I mean there are loads of nurseries with childless teenagers working in them! And I'm really glad my company give out childminding vouchers, we'll need them by the sounds of it!
For some reason I get these odd desires for things from time to time (I blame the odd autistic brain cells in my head that hold onto a random idea and don't let go for ages!) and currently the desire is a white ink tattoo! I have no idea why, I've never wanted one but now I keep thinking about getting a teeny little white ink tat on the inside of my wrist, so only I know it's there. I keep doodling a little ribbon design which is 2 connected Rs back to back (since OH and I are both R names!)... someone keep me away from the tattoo parlour as this could be an impulse I regret! LOL!
Oooh, and I couldn't resist sharing this (although you'll only get it if you like Harry Potter!), it made me smile!
I'm off to draw on myself in indellible ink now so I lose the desire to brand myself for life!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

That's exactly what I'm after! Except I want my name in Khmer. I like your idea though, sounds unique! I've read up on white ink and sometimes you have to get it done a few times to make the white really show up.
Love the Harry Potter tattoo too!
