Hi snowmoredebt we're getting married in the Holiday Inn but in 2011 now.
Where are you getting married?Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
I'm feeling a bit crap about it all recently, these past few weeks I've had more and more of my good friends telling me they can't make it because of other plans, and its really hurt me.
Is it selfish to want them to cancel their other plans and come celebrate my big day? I want all of the people I love and hold dear to be there, and as then days pass there's more and more key people dropping out.trying to become a moneysaving student0 -
hi kr15SNW
We are getting Married at Compton Church then onto the Novotel we looked at the Holiday In its nice there. If your looking for bridesmaid dresses (under 16) have a look in double trading co on Weston Approach I had a look in at the school uniforms and was really suprised to see a selection of really nice bridesmaid dresses all under £50.
Hi Mellymeep
I would feel the same as you August is 6 months away so unless my good friends had already booked a holiday I would be upset if they said they couldnt make it.Debt at LBM £19700

Hi everyone
Becky 1981 we're date twins - I'm 6th Aug to! - I also suspect we were born in the same year:rotfl: (Apologies if I missed any other 6th Aug!) I was also mistaken that a Friday wedding would be cheaper! In fact we booked two years before we get married and couldn't get a Saturday coz they were all booked.
So far I've
ordered and picked up dress (after major dress wobbles and tantrums I love it:o
bought bridesmaid's dresses and head dresses
paid florist deposit (need to decide on flowers though)
paid cars deposit
paid deposit on venue
booked church
bought shows (today!)
sourced where we getting suits from
sourced person making invites
ordered veil
paid deposit on cake maker (need to decide on style)
bought all my tea light holdesr for centre pieces
Really struggling with honeymoon ideas - H2B is organising it as a surprise and I would have loved to go long haul but it looks like it's rainy season everywhere. Gonna stick to Europe and then save up for to go see the Northern Lights for my 30th :j
What's everyones themes? I'm going sort of art deco theme. Really struggling with table names, want to continue this and thought of using songs from the 20s and 30s but OH thought it was a bit pretentious!
I can't believe it's almost 6 months!NSD -5/20
Emergency funds - £84
Loan payments - [STRIKE]48[/STRIKE]400 -
Booked the suits today, really begining to feel like there will be a wedding. I felt 10 feet tall trying them on! Now OH has to book her flowers and bridesmaid dresses then all deposits will be down just the balances to go!Debt at LBM £19700
