For my favours (bags with mixture of sweets) do i put tags on them saying the names and the date of the wedding? Or just have the bags?

Also, do you know where to get a wishing well/post box cheap from (quick delivery) & Thoughts on a guest book please

    Thanks x

    Nessie,

This is our guest book http://www.fhinds.co.uk/Gifts/Great_Gift_Ideas/For_Her/Silver-Plated-Wedding-Album-Guest-Book-Pen-and-Pen-Holder-168943.html

The picture doesn't do it justice, it's stunning. And we're going to get the date and names engraved on the front at some point.

We only paid £29.95 in store for it. Not very MSE but it's worth it I think

I am married now as well!!!! :j

Nessie- I got my post box off ebay. £3.99 + P&P and was delivered next day!!! A plain box and I had to decorate it. The seller was balloonpartysupplies and they still have some listed.

Congratulations to all those that have tied the knot and to those that are left it will be worth it.

Have to say as well- the tips on here have been fabulous, thanks everyone!

I feel exactly the same, all the stress planning the big day and now it is over - and it went too quickly!

Everything went to plan apart from my husbands cousin arriving in a white tight mini dress! And not being able to have any of the buffet as i was busy dancing and drinking lol

But i am now married to the love of my life and have some lovely photos to look back on!

  • I had a beautiful day, it was the most perfect day of my life but am I weird that I'm definitely glad its all over now? I really wasn't a fan of being the centre of attention for an entire day, it was probably the most attention I've received in my entire life and it made me feel so uncomfortable, it didn't ruin the day or anything but I definitely don't want to do it again!

Hooray to us all! My whole day was fabulous, considering the amount I did myself im amazed that the only thing that didnt go to plan was we forgot to sort the 2nd evening cake (cheapo from Tesco).... totally forgot about it....well date says BB 28th Dec, so thats Xmas cake sorted! And the batteries in my lanterns (decorating outside of venue) went in about 15 mins but that was all that screwed up!

We even made the local paper for our green / MSE credentials- http://www.hebdenbridgetimes.co.uk/1392/Wedding-couples-big-days-gone.6484140.jp

Are you ladies going to put some pics up? Do I need to do it via photobucket?

It rained on my day but that meant I made use of the massive white umbrella I bought off confetti.co.uk (before it went into administration)! I'm sentimentally attached to that umbrella now :p

I had a wonderful day and I know the guests enjoyed themselves too! We had less than 50 people so it felt personal and we had a chance to chat with everyone :)

For anyone in Notts, I was pleased with my make-up lauramaydavis@hotmail.co.uk and hair (Liz) epeat@btinternet.com ladies - I think they will travel as well. Photos from lifephotographic.co.uk were great, my yummy cakes were from pureindulgencecakes.co.uk and we travelled in style with lafberysweddingcarhire.com
