I really underestimated how good the coctail masterclass would be, you will have a great time, there were 12 of us and one of the bar staff shows you how to make various coctails and everyone gets a go behind the bar to make one, you get to all drink the coctail you made plus the one the bar staff made plus loads of free shots. We also got free pizza and wedges and 2 free rounds of coctails after that. I was absolutely wasted!! The staff were funny and friendly and everyone thought it was brill :D

    Hey guys,

Had my wedding dress fitting on Friday and it was 6 inches too big!!!

They done it up and it fell off me! So chuffed with myself - only 1 inch to loose now (they are altering it to an inch smaller at my waist!)

My hairdresser has cancelled on me! :( Need to find another one quick!

Hope all your plans are coming together

I just need to sort out song list for disco - flowers (this friday) - finalise cheese 'cake' (thursday) - table decorations (got tealights!) Vows! - Hair! Spray tan! ... think that is it!

Congratulations on your dress fitting and losing all that weight! You must have felt so good once you got back into that dress! I had my first dress fitting on Saturday and it still fits the same, which is a good thing as I was worried it was going to be a bit tight!

How come your hairdresser cancelled on you? I would be livid if my hairdresser did that to me!

  • Congratulations on the weight loss Nessie! :)

Has everyone done their table plans? I'm struggling!! :(

    Still need to do:

    Table Plan
Put together Order of Service (have printed and need to put together)
    Table numbers
    Menu Cards
    Bridesmaids dresses still not arrived!
    My final dress fitting
Another hair and make up trial
Buy wine / drinks and wine labels
Buy wedding party gifts (bridesmaids, ushers etc)

Oooh my uncle is doing our photo's too as a wedding present :D

I am getting a bit stressed at the mo, well not stressed just a bit frutrated as Ive still got a fair few bits to do and I had an operation last week and now can't walk. I have to keep my leg elavated at all times! grrr so I can't go out n get the last few bits like I need some petals for the flower girls and shoes for my 2 yr old son and gift boxes for the kids goody bag stuff to go in.
Also still need to pick up hubby's ring and take a trip to costco for sweets for the favour boxes.
I could spent this time making the table plan, card post box, table numbers etc but I stupidly didnt think to go and buy the card and stuff before the op so can't do that either. GRRRRR!!

Also I was thinking of having table names instead of numbers but can't think of a theme for the names, any ideas??
