Belated Christmas wishes Ruby (and congrats on the BB win!) :starmod::snow_grin0

Thanks EB! Belated wishes to you too!
I've just returned from a shopping trip and a half. I went purely with the intention of using some vouchers and gift cards and that was it. The Boyfriend treated me to Pizza Hut Buffet and Avatar (made me cry!) and then lured me into Lush. Where I spent £60! Ok so £20 of that was a present for his sister which he is going to give me the money for, and then I got 3 free grab bags with loads of stuff in them. But I feel bad for not listening to myself and stopping myself from buying. The only thing I can do in future is leave the debit card at home.
At least I'm well stocked up for the year!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Hey Ruby, I know how you feel about going overboard with the Lush stuff, I've done the same with Soap & Glory!
But positive thinking, you won't have to buy any for ages!
I had to stop myself buying a Filofax after reading about your new one, it sounds gorgeous!
Enjoy your lovely New Years plans! :beer:Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Thanks Zig, glad to hear I'm not the only one! I just counted through it all and I definitely won't have to buy anything bath or shower products for a while. However one of the soaps smells a bit funny to me so that will be relegated to hand washing duty me thinks!
As for the filofax, it hasn't arrived yet (hopefully tomorrow!) but I am very very excited about it. Here's to 2010 being a more organised year!
I'm very excited about NYE now, never used to be, I've even rummaged to find the fancy underwear the Boyfriend bought me when we first go together. Hopefully he'll appreciate it!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Happy New Year everybody! Hope you all had a great time, I know I did! It was nice to just relax and chill while drinking expensive champagne!
As for the MSE front, I am now £400 back in my overdraft after Christmas and things. Therefore I am going on a selling kick. I have already rooted around in my Lush stash and found a whole bunch of things to sell on their forum. If they don't go there then they will be listed on eBay. I have put some books on Amazon and plan on selling some shoes on eBay too that I have hardly worn and don't really fit me properly. I have 26 days till I get paid, I've decided to use the Virtual Sealed pot and house fund to pay off the overdraft just before I get paid so that I start from £0 with my wages and hopefully won't dip into the overdraft again!

Oh well done, particularly with the new rules!
I won nothing, alas, and I forgot to put a ticket on the lottery. I need to put one on for next time.
