    Thanks Pickle!

One coursework piece is kind of done, just need to add a few extra things but I can do that Wednesday. My big huge essay is due Tuesday and it's all planned, just need to write the bloody thing!

Lost 1lb this week but going to try and step it up next week! I've made a list of resolutions for the year in my 2010 book. Basically it's a notebook that I write a whole load of aims in for the year and then document achieving them. Bit like a scrap book really. One of the big ones is getting my BMI under 30. Yes I'm over weight but I don't look obese obese, but I'm rather short so I have a high BMI at the moment. When the weather gets a bit warmer I'll be running again. Might even go for a swim next week if I have time!

Better get back to the essay!

Where was BC playing ruby? We seen him last Oct in Glasgow, it was a brill nite! Well done on the weight loss, I think I've lost 1lb also but it depends where the scales are sitting. An inch to the right or left and I've gained 2lbs!

Hammersmith Apollo, been there before to see other people but forgot how much of a dump it is inside. Hopefully with HMV taking it over they can do a restoration on the place!

Yes depending on the type of scales I use depends on how well I've done. The ones at home say I've lost a pound, the ones at work say I've put on...not too sure really!

Oh Ruby, we could be twins (except your red and I'm 5'7", but in spirit we are the same. ) ;) I weigh a simply stupid amount and need to get rid of it. I have reasons enough to do so as well, but I feel as though it's harder to do it, living at home. I need to get on with it. I'm supposed to go to Canada for a wedding at the end of August and I don't want to be a beached whale there, and I'm 30 in November and I DEFINITELY want to be slender for that. Gah...!

Best of luck with Tuesday essay. x

I know what you mean about living at home not helping with the weight thing...my mum doesn't seem to understand portion control etc hehe.

Essay and Report are finished and handed in. 6000 words in 48 hours has taken it out of me. I need to rest, good job I have the day off work tomorrow. I am planning to go through my room (it really needs tidying) and sorting things that can be sold on amazon/ebay. Really can't wait till payday. As I have the Christmas overdraft to pay off I'm going to transfer the £500 back into my account from the house fund so I have an £0 balance (and maybe some of the VSP too) for when pay comes around and then I can take the £500 out again. Also I have adjusted my budget for the month so I will have a whole chunk left to pay into the house fund too. Basically any balance past £0 will go into the house fund at the end of the month because it won't be earning me interest in the current account.

Sorry if this is rambling but I really need some sleep. May also post a copy of my spreadsheet to show people how I budget for the month. Might help someone out...

Well here is my budget calender for January/February. I get paid on the last Wednesday of every month so that's how the thing works. I don't have my full rota for work this calendar yet so not all the bus fare is accounted for on it. And I know I spend a ridiculous amount of money on train fare but when you have to be at uni before 9 am one day then you have to pay peak fares. The colours co-ordinate with the pens I use in my filofax...I'm organised like that hehe. Maybe it might give some people an idea of how to budget.

Cheers Ruby, I've taken a look and note. I can't plan to such a degree as I drive and therefore pay for tankfulls of petrol, some of which seem to last longer than others (depending on how much driving I have to do), but I account for it and often have a bit left over.

Seems the filofax was worth it if you can colour co-ordinate with your online budget planner! ;)

Oh it was definitely worth it Pickle! I feel all grown up with it hehe. I'm lucky that I can plan like that because I know pretty much what's happening from one month to the next. That will all change when I get a car, but I do get a pay rise in February...not much but it will give me an extra £30 quid a month I think!
