Oh Toots - when you have a moment, I need a Tuesday and Wednesday star pleases.

I have flown today. Also went out for a long walk with BB this afternoon - I'm glad I did it when I did as we've had heavy rain and wind the last hour or so. But at least I won't need to water the tomatoes tonight...

Kitchen cleaned today by teenie, I just left it yesterday as was mega busy and it shows urgh! I'm a mucky puppy. Also hoovered a few days of carp off the living room floor, then OH brought in 2 bags of plaster and spilt some  I give up!

FIL has had his Pacemaker fitted and is back home, he feels much better so yay for that! :T Lily cat was spayed yesterday ooh and micro chipped and is super-duper fine, I worried all day until I got the phone call to pick her up lol what a relief, she's allowed out on Saturday woop! woop! :T

Off to make sarnies for tomorrow and wipe the benches down again. Got a lovely film to watch tonight, hopefully I'll sleep as I'm suffering from a bit of hormonal insomnia  *sigh* stoopid AF I'm sick to the back teeth of her and I haven't even turned yet!

OOh (RANT ALERT) DS persuaded me to hand over his (overdue) pocket money this morning because he was going to town.. Just got in myself to discover he has blown the whole lot on 1 DVD (£13.99) - at a fiver a week he cannot afford to do this and he is driving me mad with his spending. This is while awaiting the Wii game he ordered to come which still has to be paid for. DVD is sealed - it's going back (and the same thing is available from their online store at £9.99!) If they are stroppy I shall tell them he is 14 and it's a 15 DVD!

As of yesterday the age thing doesn't appear to matter as they've discovered that the legislation wasn't actually brought into force... Sounds like you DS needs to get himself a job with spending habits like that!

Wibbly Wednesday ~ Master Messroom & landing - DONE!!!

Toots - thanks! I had about 45 minutes sleep this morning. Didn't get much as there was loads of banging from next door (she is getting a new kitchen put in) and across the road (council doing loads of work there too). But there is a bonus! I'm getting my 2 wall cupboards fitted by the council guys tomorrow!!! But the kitchen looks awful cos I did very little today so I must get some of it done! I feel terrible and think its my sinus problem rearing its ugli little head again! Going to bed very very early tonight and hope to get some rest!!!

I'll get thr grots to bed them post tomorrows list..

My kitchen is somewhat tidier.. I have one worksurface to dig out from under 3ft of sh-height.. a lot is to go to charity shop so I can fling a lot of it.. I NEED to get some ebay pics done and get some listing done there.. so I can scrape together next months mortgage payment as HB have STILL not sorted my housing benefit.. God alone knows why they have had long enough and some.. OH's was sorted out months ago and he applied 2 weeks after me!! I am REALLY fluffed off with them!

OH mopped the kitchen and I slopped the worksurfaces, units and appliances, loaded the DW and WM's and did dinner.. looks so much nicer in there but I still need to clean out the fridge and find this worksurface and the DW needs reloading with all the dinner pots.

need to contact xh regards th echildren this weekend.. I said he can have them Friday - Sunday OR as it is Bank Holiday Saturday - Monday so he can have a night out if he wishes.. apparently I am being unreasonable as he 'wants' them Friday - Monday.. but I may want to take them out on Friday.

They are at church summer club 10-12 Tuesday - Friday next week and back to school the week after so that is a week which will fly by thank goodness.. and as 6 of them can go it means I get at least 2 hours peace each day.. I cannot wait!!! lol

Bedroom getting done tomorow.. it is a swamp in here.. There is barely any visible floor ad I am really fed up of it. The bins were finally emptied today and I have a 'bulky items' collection next Thursday so have until them to fill 7 binbags of rubbish to go with the broken cupboard.. I'll hoik the ancient useless table out too and see if they take that as wel.. if not I'll ring them and ask them to come back for it lol.

I MUST make a start on DD2's bedroom at some point.. and I need to chase the loss adjustors regards the cheque for the decorators.. see if they can shove it through quick.. that may come in for mext months mortgage payment.

    next job.. beastlets to bed..

Back in a bit to do the list.. xx

After my lovely little HHC (glad you could make it Valli!) I've made a meringue, now just need to pick some blackberries and whip some cream and I'm done for the night!

and after my HHC I can now rightfully claim Tuesday's Star!

I am pondering giving DS a monthly allowance to include pocket money + phone credit of £10 a month. But that would be it. NO more. So if (when) he runs out of money/credit (having blown it all at the beginning of the month) he'll have to do without. If he wants more than that he will have to get a job - but he's 16 in Sept so could get a job in Morrisons or somewhere.

I fact I could do this for them both...it will be interesting to see how much DD would save!

If anyone has any experience of this I'd be interested to know - DS clearly needs to learn how to be sensible with his money and fast.
