  • well i 'think' my neighbour problem could be sorted!

c+p from facebook with a bit added!

neighbour problem kinda sorted! she has issues to deal with(her son was murdered in 04 and she fosters 2 boys(who have behavioural issues) and her car keeps getting done over by the kids dad as he can't see them and has took offence at this) and the police have told her to get her car off the road(it isn't taxed anyway so should be) for safety reasons(although if he wants to put the windows through again, all he has to do is throw a brick over the fence) and shoreline(HA) have given her temporary permission to have car in garden until she can hopefully get a garage, if not then it's a permanant fixture and there's nowt we can do about it apparently!
she is going to secure the fence for now and the party fence is her responsibility so she is going to replace this(as it is all rotting) as well as get gates for the driveway - which will open outwards(straight into our gate) so therefore DD won't be at risk, apart from walking straight into a fence! and she doesn't need a drop kerb as it isn't on a main road!

not happy about it in the slightest but it seems there isn't anything we can do

it seems that she is wanting to make this a home and be here for a long time to stop upset for the boys - in her previous home, she used to get lots of abuse about her son and things and no one on our estate seems bothered about it!

my knee is still really sore, got a feeling i might have chipped my knee bone or something - is there anyway of telling without a trip to the doc's or the hospital??
didn't think about taking some paracetamol so thanks toots - i did try lots of alcohol last night but that didn't help either :rotfl: and i thought it would have!!

flying wise i have done nothing mainly cos of my knee being sore and just walking makes it hurt, trying to keep moving but it's no good it hurts

Dolly - sounds like you've had a good chat with your neighbour, which is great. I have a problematic neighbour, but I've made an effort, and actually have fewer issues than those of my neighbours who haven't bothered to get to know her and just klisten (and contribute to) gossip...

Currently on the phone trying to sort out yet more problems with my mobile...

Baking can be carried to tomorrow as far too hot in the kitchen just now to contemplate it!
Will add that to my daily list plus whatever Pigpen throws at us for tomorrow.

Back from work and food shopping (yawns). Bedding is in the TD. Littles are tidying the playroom floor, and then they are going to hoover. A bomb appears to have hit the kitchen since yesterday which is infuriating - time for S&S.

need to find a new avatar cos I keep thinking your posts are mine hope, just do that and drink my coffee then HHC 4.45-5.15 if anyone cares to join me?

You're not alone. One of my friends is a barrister, now at home with two small children, people assume so much and don't stop to find out.

dollydaydream hugs. Well done for trying to empathise, have had neighbour problems and its not good.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
