We've got squirrels in ours. You can hear them scampering about. That's something else on the list to sort out. Not sure how though. When I spoke to the pest control people at the council they were going to charge approx. £200 to put poison down then come back a week later. But if it didn't work then it would cost the same again to repeat the process. A colleague of DH's suggested putting poison down mixed with cereal...apparently that works, but I don't really like the idea of killing the squirrels at all. We really need to find and block the hole where they are getting in.

    Happy Anniversary!

I think mine is probably starlings - I've had a good look at the corner of the house and think there is a hole and bird poo under the gutter...

Squirrels - you can trap them, but the problem you then have is that its illegal to release them into the wild. My dad traps them and then shoots them (not in the roof, when they attempt to raid is hazel/walnut trees!). I thought about a trap to see whether it was squirrels, but then I'd have to transport them up to Norfolk for him to kill!

Shopping done... it was horrible, I didn't get everything I needed, and I spent far too much money!!! Hopefully I won't have to do it again anytime soon. I've also put the shopping away, and am now waiting for the pest man and doing more work filing...

Toe-tickling Tuesday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs Done!!:D:D:D
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

I've half done the main bedroom as well, as that's an easy room for me to do. Except for the pile of books from the boys' room which has a temporary residency permit until the bookshelf is put up in their room.

Lovely day here, but very windy. I still don't feel very well, so am having a very quiet and restful day. Just me and DS2 in at the minute, DS1 at music course, DD and her BF in town, and I have no idea where OH is - he just went out without saying anything:confused:

I have to pop out later to buy something for dinner, as we don't appear to have any food in the house...DS1 is cooking as I don't feel like it. Spaghetti bolognese Monday, Meditterranean roast vegetables and chicken last night. I have him well trained!:D Wonder what he fancies making tonight??

Fingers crossed for those exam results tomorrow!!

All three of mine are going in - AS and A2 for DS1 and DD who were away last week, and they wouldn't let a friend have the results to text, which we'd thought would be okay. I've tried ringing the school, but no answer. DS2 has statistics GCSE. I'm just desperate for DS1 to have at least one E grade, which will get him onto a foundation degree. He's improving all the time over the past three years, and this would be great! I'll let you know - of course.

On an education/flying note - those teachers and learning support amongst us - how and where do you store your school stuff at home?

Sarah and toots - so pleased to hear that you had a great visit!

It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

Been and bought a laundry basket/ hopper thingy, it was priced at £14.99, got to the till and it was £9.99, so in true flylady MS fashion, I paid up, and asked for a reciept, and left the shop!!!

    Afternoon all

No washing today because the weather's grim, although the bed has been stripped and I'll wash it tomorrow. DH even remade the bed because my back is so bad this week. That's a first.

    Everything done on Wednesday's list

Haven't caught up, but hope everyone's OK. I'm not chatting....
