hi, I didn't manage to fly yesterday. And I have just woken to the sound of the vacuum cleaner downstairs and on the stairs so I know DH ahs already done living room and halls and stairs today.

I will do some paperwork sorting and clearing surfaces later. I am off to the doctor soon as I have a sore eyelid and also to see if they can do anything for my elbow.

hex2 B and Q have 15 % off vouchers available. I think I saw it on vouchercodes.com ... or was it on here?...... We are trying to haggle on pices as we have 3 bathroom suites to buy and a kitchen for our barn conversion. Don't have two pennies to rub together right now though.

Youre welcome here anytime. Most of September is ok so feel free to give me a shout when you fancy coming through....I will be sure to give you directions back to civilisation when you want to go home! :rotfl:

If there's a chance of getting out OK I might risk it... I'll let you know after the bank holiday when I finally get my head round what I'm doing in September. Hope you recover from your class soon!

Hex - glad you like my list :D. Any tips on picking a good installer for the stove? I have a cousin who does them but he's in south devon, so not really ideally placed to sort mine out for me (mind you, I might be able to get him to supply the stove at a discount!).

    Morning all,

I used to have the smurfs in the country I was born in - we used to watch them in Arabic! It's a bit like Pingu - you were able to understand what was going on without the need to understand the language they were speaking.

Well my flylady psychic powers were working then yesterday as I made a small head-start on the living room and hall. Lets get that list and do some crossing out. I need to make sure it is all tidy as I have my colleague coming over for coffee before we go into school tomorrow, and it's the first time she's been to my house.

    List update:

Does anyone have any experience of being an amazon seller? DS has some Nintendo games - I was going to list on e bay but prices seem better on Amazon and they appear to stay listed until sold/60 days...
It appears, from what I can see, tht listing is free. I cannot find out what I would have to pay if the item sold!

I use amazon. You have to be aware of postage charges as they charge a flat rate and I have sometimes lost out if the book has been big/heavy. The sellers charge varies as to the cost of the item bought. I have sent you a pm

Bit of a rubbish day for flying yesterday. DD1 is at a playscheme this week so had to get her up and ready, as well as packed lunch, then car ran out of petrol (why do men insist on running it right down and then saying you've got miles left, just before it conks out ) luckily just on the corner of our street.
So Dad came and gave OH a lift up to petrol station to fill a petrol can.
DD2 and DS then decided they wanted to go with grandad to see grandma, so we all nipped around there for an hour, which turned into the morning lol.
Did some cooking in the afternoon, a bit of gardening and some tidying/hoovering, but need to focus today, going to aim for levels 1 and 2 on mon and tue jobs.
