Rose - thanks for the idea re Woolies - they do do lunch boxes but not the ones they want. Glad you didn't crack and get the cake. Hard work having things like that in the house. If you can get them fresh dates taste just like caramel and are just lovely without being calorific.

Hex what lunch box do you want i am shopping later i can have a look. x

There already is no way back - this thread is like the Hotel California -you can check out any time but you can never leave....

how true, how true, and just to prove it here I am! :j hope you're all well girlies (and boys if we have any at the mo?). I have done nothing, zilch, nada for the last week and a bit, so I thought I'd best come back for a swift kick up the rear to get me going again; and I was doing so well ...

I'm sitting at the desk (at least I'm dressed today :o) waiting for a microwave delivery, and a MrT delivery and a clothes delivery  Cant leave the living room cos I'm afraid I wont hear the bell :D so I wont get very much done today; I've been keeping up with the bathroom s&s and the kitchen isn't too bad especially considering I've done loads of baking (Tashja made me! :rotfl:)

I shall take a look at the list to see what I can manage today; will report back later, but don't lets get too excited about what I'm likely to achieve! Will try to catch up with some of the news but sorry if I've missed anything important
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

I've sold books - Amazon deducts the selling fee once the item is sold.

We had rain first thing but now we have a bit of blue sky. I need to start on the front room today. DD is moving back at the weekend for an unknown length of time - they put their notice in on the flat BEFORE they had a completion date for the flat her bloke's Mum is buying for him. Hey ho....

It appears I have to pay £25 a month! or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Meet the Smurf that can sleep just about anywhere. In the shade of a mushroom, under a wheelbarrow or even on the building site of the dam. Any place is the right place for a little nap. His first thought in the morning is about what time he'll get back to bed. It's not that he's lazy, but just the very idea of work wears him out.

Jo - I probably won't be back from my mum's until after you've started your new job, but I have plenty of time in September so could easily drive over in your direction sometime... I haven't been to Wales since I had to go to a Remploy factory in Porth and spent ages trying to find my way out of the town... it was scary :rotfl:we thought we were going to be stuck there for ever driving round and round the town as there were no signs out of it to civilisation...!

Youre welcome here anytime. Most of September is ok so feel free to give me a shout when you fancy coming through....I will be sure to give you directions back to civilisation when you want to go home! :rotfl:

Does anyone have any experience of being an amazon seller? DS has some Nintendo games - I was going to list on e bay but prices seem better on Amazon and they appear to stay listed until sold/60 days...
It appears, from what I can see, tht listing is free. I cannot find out what I would have to pay if the item sold!

Valli - I dont know about Amazon, but if they are Nintendo DS games, I would be interested in buying some of them possibly and putting them away for littleys Christmas.

I did a body pump class yesterday, which i havent done for ages, which is basically aerobics with a barbell and weights.....I am in agony. You always suffer the first time you go, but today there will be no binbag dancing for me.....flying, slowly and gently. :rotfl:

Hex - my B&M or home bargains has thomas the tank lunchboxes in, Im going over there today for toilet roll and some bits and bobs.....do you want me to get you one? Id be happy to post it on. I got DS a Ben 10 one from there too.

    Morning!!!

Not posting a list yet today as I've got a million and one things to do outside the house.

Actually maybe you could help me with this problemo!

When I moved into this house 3 months ago, the conservatory, well it's more of a lean to greenhouse really, was and still is missing some panes of glass/perspex. The landlord supposedly searched high and low for the clips to secure replacement glass in place, but was unable to locate them.

I got really hacked off 3 weeks ago and searched for them myself on the internet. Well blow me. Guess what I found within 15 minutes of looking? So I phoned the agent and they said they would inform the landlord. Well surprise, surprise I've heard nothing from them at all.

I have to go in and pay my rent today and I really want this sorted because in effect I'm paying rent on a room that I can't use to it's fullest extent. Plus it was part of the agreement when I moved in that it would be sorted out I just had to bear with them for a bit. So any advice would be appreciated.

Right better do a bit of flying now.!!!

Thanks Quillion. Thomas (or anything train) and Transformers full size lunch bags please. I hate shopping, and even more so with the boys.

Valli you are looking at the wrong thing I think. There is a whole thread here about how to do it. Find a matching item, click on 'sell yours here' and it should be straightforward form there. No fees to pay until it sells, then they deduct it before thye send you the cash. You dont want to be a platinum seller or whatever it is called, just list a single item. It tells you how much you will get when you list it. Last one I sold fees went like this, contribution was about £7 after I paid post:
    Buyer's Price: £8.08
    Shipping: £2.75
    Amazon Fees: £-2.74
    Your Earnings: £8.09

Holly - joining you a bit late but off I go.....

ETA - Jo our H&B didn't have big lunch bags for Transormers or Thomas just little tubs? Thanks for the offer - much appreciated. Let me know if yours have them and I will try the other local one here.
