Oh Toots - I'll have a Monday star please when you have a moment.
BB and me are quite pooped. I needed some provisions so thought we'd both walk to the villagy part of town where the butcher etc. is rather then me just drive. It was a bit further than I thought. Walking there was fine, but walking back with a rucksack full of veggies etc. was quite tiring. All in all, the round trip took 1.75 hours. I'm not sure if I'll be doing it regularly!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Well done - I've found the answer is to do this every day and not have to carry so much each time!
I've just realised that my letter gives my termination date as 31st August (correct!), and is dated 31st August... must email the forum reps to let them know as I'm sure our consultation process meant that we had to have the letters about 10 days before our termination date. I'm not bothered, as I just want out, but its always useful for them to know what c*ckups have been made as they can use it to help out the other people affected!0 -

She's 7 - she always had her teeth checked fine until she needed a couple of fillings about 2 years ago - she had the injection and then wouldn't let the dentist do anything else and since then, until today, has refused to even get in the chair, never mind open her mouth for the dentist even though it's a different dentist that does the fillings.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Evening all.
I'm still skiving:o I have made and decluttered dinner, sorted the school bags for tomorrow and I'm just about to lay out the clothes for the morning.
:mad:major rant alert:mad:
OH has said to BIL that I'll babysit for him again. The last time SIL was meant to be here to pick up her DD at 2.30 but BIL turned up at 5.30 never came in just beeped horn and left which I was fuming about. I don't mind if it is for work but when it's overnight I draw the line.:mad:gratefulforhelp wrote: »elly hugs. Can relate to this a little, as have seen many girls at school go through (and put their family through) similar. In my experience no child is bad, however angry they can make their loved ones feel, but sometimes they are not good at handling things. Has the GP ruled out depression or other mental health issue? And please don't take her comments about it being your fault to heart. You did what all parents do, the best job you could in the situation.
I agree with grateful sometimes they just don't know how to cope with all the mixed up feelings. I talk through experience as I was one of those children:o. When my dad died I was 14, my mam turned to drink and coupled with the normal teenage things I just didn't know how to deal with it all. So I done what made sense to me at the time, hit the self destruct button, I drank, smoked, took drugs and took myself off to London. I put my mam through hell. On the up side I never turned out too bad once I was able to learn to deal with things I just settled down but it came with age and experience. One of the best things my mam done for me was to throw me out of the house at 16 I lived in a supported accomadation flats for a while which made me stand on my own two feet and sort myself out. Never said thanks to my mam for that but it was the best thing for us all. Hope things work out for you both.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Marvellous Monday ~ Kitchen and dining area
ALL DONE!!!!!! can I have a star please toots????
I've also almost finished DD1 and DD2's bedrooms lol. The hallway is also done, thanks to the sparky leaving such a bloody mess all over the place!!!! Mucky beggar!!! But I have plugs I can get to now! Although the !!!!in idiot didn't bother to blank off the plugs that are behind the radiators ... and he went thru DD2's wall to sort it out. Well that means that the company now owes me a decorating allowance for the hallway, living room and DD2's room! Although they don't know that I still have paint for DD2's room, so the money will be used for my bedroom instead!!!
I hope they just cough up cold hard cash! That way I can get the paint from a shop in town where its only £7 a tub. And if I'm lucky I can decorate the hallway, living room and my bedroom for around £50! There might even be enough left over for some kitchen & bathroom paints to get the paintwork in those rooms sorted out! I have some gloss paint lying around and will then use that for the skirtings and door frames to hopefully make this place look more like a home!
Anyhoo, loads of filing sorted out! I got my filing box out and its a bit heavy now lol.
So to treat myself (and the fact that my cooker is sooo clean I don't want to mess it up lol) I've ordered a takeaway for me and the 2 kids. DH is living it up so why cant we!!! lol xxLBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

I have thoroughly blitzed the computer room - and I mean blitzed! lol
Migraines - hubby suffers from them and I don't know if this will help but he has very strong prescription sunglasses now as UV light triggers his.
Hope that helps,
