Everything and anything triggers them.. eating, not eating, food additives, processed food, stress, lacl of sleep, alcohol, caffeine..

She usually has 5-6 a month.. on starts as another is ending so they overlap. 3 of my sisters get them and my oldest son and I've been getting them the last 2 years probably stress induced.

Oh my goodness thats really bad!
I didn't know they can run in families till my neurologist asked if anyone else suffered. They have said its the continuous surgeries what have triggered mine and they COULD go altogether. Heres hoping!!

How did it go with DD? What does your dentist suggest? This is a sad situation but one which I feel she needs help over coming as you don't want her to never see a dentist again.

Well I would like to change my bedroom around seeing as I spend most of my time here these days.

But where to start with a stuffed, cramped, badly decorated, cluttered room!:o
How about starting with getting the stuff out? :p Paint it white, and then just put back what you need and get your DDs to carboot the rest!

Does anyone have their bed under a window? It would give us considerably more space to move around in.
I thought this was considered bad feng shui although the crapola in our room probably is already very bad feng shui.;):o
I don't think the window will matter in the light of all the junk, but quite how you're going to manage to mvoe the bed I'm not sure  you might have to empty the room first :rotfl:I was always told that the bed should align east-west, but then I think if you're going to worry about the feng shui you have to consider doors, windows, mirrors etc... I think you should aim for decluttered first...

No you should go like that and make 'em feel guilty because you are now a poor unemployed person...
I changed, but didn't bother brushing my hair or putting on makeup. I ended up staying longer than planned waiting for my f***ing letter (there's one bit missing... the appeals process), which my boss brought down. He decided to have a chat to me - wanted to know what I was thinking of doing and why I wanted to do language courses. So I told him I wanted to go back into the city (he's never seen my CV... doesn't know I only worked in financial publishing...) and was thinking of venture capital for technology so needed to get my languages going again...

The finished work! yey hey, I now need a new project!

You can do mine on the way down to see Froddy - I'm just off the A34 south of Newbury...

I've got a splitting headache that's trying to be a migraine. Probably the stress of waiting for and finally getting my letter. And possibly dehydration... Treatment is ibuprofen (2x400mg... don't do this at home unless under mediacl supervision...) with 1000mg of paracetamol, a pint of water (more if I can keep it down), a cup of milky instant coffee and rehydration salts (blackcurrant dioralyte). Once this has all stayed down for 20 minutes I can then go to bed and try to sleep until it's better. It's a kill or cure job... if it doesn't work then I can't repeat the treatment for 8 hours - I just have to keep drinking water or diluted fruit juice. Off to make a start on it now... and have a lie down instead of the planned walk

Elly - ((((hugs)))) I'd send your DD to pigpen - a few weeks of changing Jacob's nappies and she'll go off the idea of getting pregnant! You're obviously very strong, and hopefully she'll get through this stage and appreciate the fact that you've stood by her when everyone else has given up on her
  • elly hugs. Can relate to this a little, as have seen many girls at school go through (and put their family through) similar. In my experience no child is bad, however angry they can make their loved ones feel, but sometimes they are not good at handling things. Has the GP ruled out depression or other mental health issue? And please don't take her comments about it being your fault to heart. You did what all parents do, the best job you could in the situation.

jinky God bless, I remember that feeling, you're not alone, its almost like a madness when you love someone that much. It will come good if its meant to, and I'm sure it is.

kazwookie you are a human dynamo!

electrician has been and also lady to make me a loose cover for the sofa. Kitchen not trashed yet, have electrocuted loads of flies...
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

She actually let him look at her teeth - she sat on my knee while he did it - she needs some fillings really but he just said to me there's no way she'll have them done so he'd see her in 6 mths and no sweets. So a step in the right direction.
