    Jinky - Hugs. It's not pathetic - it's love :smileyhea ;)
Ellen - I know your OH works all week - but so do you bringing up your child. Having to ask him to tidy up his own things is a bit much on his part, not yours...

Baby nodded off for an hour so managed to do a bit flying. Having recharged, however, she is twisty again bless her.

Serena, huge hugs sorry for your loss.
Jinky sorry you are feeling down, hugs

The result is NEGATIVE :j:j:j, now for the rant bit  DD is 15 and tbh the last 3 years with her have been hell , she blames me for ruining her life(i split up with her dad 3 yrs ago) over the past 3 yrs she has stole constantly from me her sister and anyone really (i now have locks on doors and a safe to try and keep items safe), she drinks, truants from school, she set fire to the school  earlier this year (they gave her a three day holiday at home and no charges were made against her).
We have a school support worker who is a great help to me but sarah refuses to co-operate at all. She has refused to go to her YOT meetings so we are back to court some time soon(i got her charged when she stole £200 off me). Her social worker has even washed her hands of her and will no longer be involved (sarah has a head lice/hygene problem which she refuses to deal with so the social worker says for health and saftey reasons she will not be visiting again). Her dad is f***g useless and will not help until she changes so he also has cut off all contact .
I took her to the dr's for the pill but she refuses to take it and i am not allowed to make her take it nor am i allowed to force her to have the injection or implant before her SW left the case she said that sarah has choices and must deal with the outcome of her decisions(i agree with this to a point but it leaves me with no-where to turn). She is abusive to the lo's verbally and physically at times and verbally abusive towards me , her favourite seems to be f off and die !!!!. The social worker seems to think that i and the rest of the kids only need to cope with her till she turns 16 then she can move out and get on with it !!!!!!. with each episode i just want to take my other kids and run away but i keep going simply because they deserve a better life than this and i live with the hope that things can only get better.
right rant and oh woe is me bit over better get some jobs done off todays list.x

Hey, I'd like to join in this week too! Just to help my mum out, she's taken on extra shifts at work so I just want to help her out abit.
I'm working all day today so I'll just do the ironing instead of the monster list but I'll start properly tomorrow after work. Nothing like a good challenge!

Elly, did your daughter come to you re the pregnancy scare and ask for the test?

If so maybe she realised that she's crossed the line and headed to you, the only person who hasn't given up on her. Maybe just a tiny, tiny little step into slowing down her destructive behaviour.

Re the YOT stuff, just leave her be re this, the court system does not go away, regardless of how many young people who believe if they don't co-operate for long enough it'll just all go away, it doesn't. Her actions, her consequences.

Given her hygiene problems I would guess that she feels very little self esteem re herself, its a tricky area to broach, there are no easy answers. Usually with young people who act like your daughter is they make it extremely difficlt to broach 'touchy' subjects as they might fly off the handle. Maybe a chat to her YOT worker re a referral to the YOT nurse for a health check up and chat?

Elly, it sounds like your daughter is very angry and doesn't really know how to express it. Unfortunately you splitting up with her dad has come at a time when she is experiencing her own emotional roller-coaster and she doesn't know how to differentiate between her feelings about the split and her own puberty-related emotional highs and lows. They all seem to have got mixed up together and in her head have become 'you have ruined my life'. Of course, Elly, you haven't. Although it doesn't help you, the SW is right about her having her own choices, but in your daughter's head she will blame you for whatever choices she makes that backfire on her. What a sad vicious circle she is caught up in.

I'm sorry you're going through this and I don't have any answers but just wanted to give you a hug whilst you are going through this. I hope she works it out for herself before she makes a big mistake. I hope you have some support whilst you are giving her your support.

Serena - just wanted to log on to send my sympathy to you.

Elly - huge hugs for you, I for one am impressed you haven't given up on her. Hopefully one day she will appreciate you.

Triker - our bed is under the window and has been for a couple of months. Nothing negative to report. Indeed lots of positives as we no longer face the door which buys us a few seconds when small boys appear :p.

hugs too for zoelikesjam, GnB, Jinky and anyone else I have indavertantly missed.

PP - deeply envious of Crackling. He looks [STRIKE]delicious[/STRIKE] lovely

This mornings meeting was cancelled so I meanly left the boys at holiday club, did lots of weeding and went for a nice long run. SS1 has just got out of bed , once he has emptied the DW I shall get on with the kitchen. Must have a gentle nag about him doing it in the evenings, not going to crack and do it myself .

I need to get the boys new lunch boxes - after Transformers and Thomas ones - can anyone suggest which Supermarket please? Not been in one for months. I do miss Woolworths which would have been simplest.
