They could but would be breaking the law.

Because they have taken your money they have now entered a legally binding contact to supply you with the goods.

Kodak made the same mistake a long time ago with the DX3700. Am sure there's a few folk on here that still remember that one.

If the item wasn't available anywhere they could probably refund and forget, but since other retailers have them in stock or expect to get them I think they'll find it hard. Besides I think the correct price for this card will be about £85-£90 so they aren't going to lose a lot of money - unless of course someone ordered 100 for ebay.

someone has put one on ebay already.

i mailed him asking him so info about the item, and asing whether i could receive it by thursday.

he said 'i don't want to lie, but i can't promise to make that' so obviously one of these.

i would really like 2 of these cards (for SLi) but if i dont get them, thats just tough for me isnt it! lol

ps. i did have the courage to ring up and spoke to a lady in cs. and i calmly asked 'when should i expect to see this item ship' she said tomorrow (3/5/2006) as it says on my original order; obviously she was oblivious to the value of the cards (i didnt draw her attention to that) but she did mention there was a 'stock shortage' so we will just have to wait and see

If you do a search on Froogle - CCL list the price as £95.62 meaning it probably was a misprice... I was hoping this would last until my credit card rolled over but no luck... ah well... cant win em all!
