Groggy head after 3 large glasses of wine last night. And period pain that kept me up last night. No matter, there's plenty of stuff that I'm doing today. Don't want to waste the weekend! My plan's to:

    - Drink 8 x water
    - Make batch of pizza dough for freezer
    - Make batch of leek and potato soup
    - Renew library books
    - Take dog for 90 minute walk
    - Clean kitchen floor
    - Hand wash dress for wedding I'm going to next week
    - Nip to shops to buy yeast, soda crystals, vinegar, bicarb of soda and small spray bottle for dog training

Paid £564 off OH's credit card last night. Will be paying off the rest of his Virgin credit card as soon as pay day rolls in at the end of the month. Then, he'll have about £5.5k left on the new Abbey National card (out of the original £9k at LBM), which is on 0%. So, we can then start throwing money towards my HSBC c/card debt. This is currently at 0% too but will be higher next year.

I've been hatching plan after plan on my spreadsheets. Itching to update my totals this week and working out how realistic these plans are. What a nerd!

OH's just left to get sorted for cheaper contact lenses. Right, off to hit the shower and get cracking on the list!

    LOL!!!
I’m pleased to announce that poochie has now reached advanced obedience training. Against the timer and on my command, she bakes a loaf, sluices the drains, cleans the shower screen, deodorises the carpets, um, sprays a nice scent into each room. She’s not only really cute but highly intelligent…
Um, yeah, actually, it was just the little water bottle I needed for the dog training – to stop her jumping up. The other (boring) stuff was for training the OH… :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Went to Morrisons with OH yesterday as we needed some bread, sandwich meat and fruit for lunches. Aaargh! Questions like "shall we get curly fries?" or "do we need some pizzas?"... We don't even eat curly fries! And, I've been making our pizzas! Is it just me or do men seem oblivious??!:D

He's going to ALDI on the way home from work to get more stuff. I've texted him a small list, which I hope he sticks religiously to!

Oh, rang up SKY again on Saturday to get SKY+ and it turned out that the £30 offer was not what I thought it was. It's actually £30 if I get multiroom for £9-ish a month. Not necessary, so decided to just leave it. With digital switchover happening in the next few weeks, I think I'll get a cheap freeview box for the bedroom. The only thing is that it's not connected to an outside aerial - it's hooked up to a portable aerial. Not sure if this will work with freeview :confused: but will look into it.

And talking about dog training :p, I'm looking to buy a long line from ebay to practice recall. But, other than that and the small shop OH is doing, aiming for no other spends today.

I've also decided against the exercise bike as I really don't need it. Well, that's £50 saved! :A

Been a bit pants on the NSD front this week. Not managed to accrue any so far for various reasons - having to get petrol, buy dog training stuff, etc. C'est la vie! Still, I think everything is going okay on the MSE front. It's true to say, though, that once you get into things and cut back, it's then more difficult to do more (or feel that you're doing more) - without looking at new ways to up my income. I guess the main thing is to stay on the righteous path on DFW-ness. The thing is, I've been thinking about buying some new basic (but cheap) tops, getting my hair done, and going away on New Years Eve with hubby.... Must... exercise... restraint....

Going to start taking my pregnacare (bought MONTHS ago) today. Quite exciting! Once this goes though, I'll probably just take a folic acid supplement - as cheaper.

    Anyhow.... back on with things...

i've actually managed a fair few NSD's over the last couple of weeks, but when i do spend i seem to spend loads.
ooooo good luck with the baby front, must be good to think that you're now working towards that goal.

Hi Lemon Tree.... I'm going to push myself next week so that I manage my 10 NSDs this month. At this rate, I'm going to stay on 3!

Yeah, really quite excited about the baby planning! Though I've managed to lose the pregnacare tablets somewhere! I hid them as I didn't want anyone to spot them in the cupboard, but put them in a place that's that safe I can't find 'em!

Friend's flat warming last night. Fun... Great to catch up and let hair down. Don't you love weekends? Better still, a proper night out and only spent on bottle of wine and card. Off to a wedding tonight, but OH driving so will be saving some £££ :T.

Checked my bank accounts online and, for the first time since for over 10 years I am not overdrawn.

Merging accounts/finances properly with OH was a very good decision for us, as things are SO much easier to manage now. Next step is to set up the standing orders for stuff like car/household repairs/fun money so that we can start budgeting for stuff properly. Feels good to have some semblance of control of this stuff finally!!
