  • Hi Lemon Tree :wave::wave:.... Hope all's good in your world! In Catzpaws-land, it's all very, very busy. Been up to my eyes in it with the business plans... yes, it's all happening very quickly, that's true! Once I have the website up, I'll PM you the link so you can take a peek and you can let me know that you think :p.

    How's work with you?

And, are the baby plans getting close??

our baby trying plans are afoot now so it's just watch this space in our land really.
would love to take a peak at your website once it's all sorted.

Work is just lovely :(, have date for 'discussion' about what we do at work with the review team so another step closer to lots of job losses, fingers crossed i survive them.

Oh that is exciting about the baby thing!! Well, fingers crossed things go your way for you soon. I have an iphone app which tells me my 'best days'.. yep, I've got all scientific with it!

The job situation doesn't sound too great though. I feel very apprehensive about my own circumstances too... bit poo, but trying to just soldier through this week then it's .... Christmas time (and a nice week and a half off week, which is much more like it!).

  • Okay, small confession time. Over the past week or so, I feel like I've really taken my eye off the ball. First, I've not been accounting for all my spending and, second, we've managed to splurge more than usual on little things (e.g. a pair of boots that I felt I needed as my others were wrecked and expensive watch repairs for hubbie). Also, we've been invited to a black tie event which will cost over £100 in suit hire.

Basically this is down to me being really busy and pre-occupied with the business. Normally, I'd have said 'no' to OH, but he's just been spending away.

Oh, and the cat will need to visit the vets again tomorrow...

    AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!

Anyway, off to do more work... will update my debt totals tomorrow.

i think we'll be quite some while before the patter of tiny feet is even on the horizon, probably the job losses will come first. I'm so looking forward to my meeting NOT.
I've got tomorrow off which i'm pleased about as it's supposed to be 'freezing rain' tonight so the roads could be lethal tonight and tomorrow. Apart from weekends and bank holidays i don't have any other days off over chrissy.

Tallied up new debt totals. Now looking at £19,647. Less than £20k now. Yeah!

Happy new year LT! Hope you had a good one?

Unfortunately, my debt-busting will drop down to a snail's pace due to needing the cash for other things at the moment. But, well done to you for getting to under £20k - keep going!

Due to extreme snowiness 'round these parts I'm spending very little money at the moment. One advantage at least!

unfortunately not quite under 20k but will be next month.

sometimes i feel that if you've got lots of expenditure going on and don't add to the debt then you've managed a major feat that shouldn't be knocked.
