  • Morning all......................well just!!

Wasn't good news with friend and I'm kind of responsible for it so feel really guilty. Can't discuss it on here I'm afraid but hopefully things will turn around and end up being ok.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Sorry this is just a quick post but thanks to everyone for keeping things crossed, can I ask you to get cramp by keeping them crossed a bit longer?:o

DH phoned hospital this a.m. and was told we could pick DS up sometime after 11. So we went through for 11.30 and the receptionist said she'd just check with the nurse to make sure he had everything - but we could go through as we knew where he was.

However the nurse came rushing over to tell us that they're keeping him in as he's been vomiting _pale_. Truth to tell when we saw him he looked awful - white as a sheet and absolutely worn out., so he's probably in the best place. Anyway we have to call back later this afternoon and hopefully he'll be able to come home then.

I was surprised after being told he would need to have a splint and wouldn't be able to wear shorts, to find him sitting there with what amounts to a couple of sticking plasters! It must be the NHS cutbacks :D. I supposed this is what you get with keyhole surgery - but it must have been a big keyhole since he now has a bolt through his knee cap _pale_. I'd even gone to the bother of buying some jogging bottoms - unpicking the side seam and replacing it with Velcro so he'd get them over the splint.

I hope everyone else is okay and having a good weekend - to those with problems may you find the strength to cope with them.
