  • cwta have a great time with your friend.

sharon glad they handled it so well. girl with the dragon tatoo, ive heard of that one was it made into a film or something?

kass how did it go with your friend? only two days now till they go back to school :)

saucy im too tired tonight, but if you do decide to wait till monday to send it, pm it to me and ill ahve a look when i get up....but bear in mind that my dla is awarded for mental health and not physical problems, and i didnt have to appeal at any stage. might be worth asking on the benefits board for someoen to check it over?
also not much use for the appeal letter, but is there a dial uk local to you, they would be able to help with the rest of the appeal process and everything else that has to go through.
any which way send me a pm with your email addy and ill see what i can find on the benefits and work site for you in the morning, that might help and email you.

    Hey,
I'm writing my DLA appeal letter on my own, because Citizens Advice 'forgot', and they are supposed to receive it by the 8th!! So need to post it tonight.

Would anyone mind reading through it for me? I'm feeling quite muddled today, but I have to make sure it makes sense.

    Thank you :)

I have spoken to person at Community health council and they agreed that what ld experienced was unacceptable and asked what outcome l was hoping for-l said to make sure it didnt happen again so they have contacted his superior and he will be spoken to and then all staff there will "retrained" to ensure they are not all doing the same.I felt it was all handled swiftly and lm glad l have done it.
Hope DS OK -got fingers crossed
I love reading and both DH and l love gory crime murders l read an article a few weeks ago that named a swedish writer as being up and coming and so went on Amazon and got them -DH is on 2nd and lm on the first still and its really brilliant and hard to put down. The writer is Stieg Larsson -The girl with the dragon Tatto and The girl who played with fire.If anyone fancies a look will happily pass them on when finished.
My stair lift was fitted this morning and l have used it and it was great to arrive upstairs and still be able to breath!
Wig lady came and had some fab wigs she is ordering me in 4 and lm allowed 2 free on NHS scheme so can see which are best on.One has fab high lights and they are so real that no one will know.

  • sharon Well done lmy ovely. Just a shame that you had to go through that for a change to be made. Have just bought Dragon Tattoo book after many people recommended it. Think I'll enjoy it. Most of my books are Crime Thrillers, so just give me a yell if you want me to send you any.

The cyst removal ain't so bad. The last one I had removed was from between my boobs  Being rather, hmmm, well endowed (38DD) it was quite sore until stitches were out. Not looking forward to one being removed from mouth as, after having my teeth out, I'm really, really uncomfortable about anyone fiddling with my mouth - even more so than anyone fiddling down there! :D:rolleyes:

Actually can't wait for the carpal tunnel op though as it's been sooo painful. We've all had to develop a high tolerance for pain though, haven't we.

Sam due here within the hour :j:T:D:rolleyes:

Bigzippy the day is drawing nearer hugs to you, you'll have to change your name to Mrs Bigzippy :rotfl::rotfl:
can you discreatly wear a vest or something or is it a off the shoulder thing.. i know what you mean about the cold :(
Nah, vests are out, not least because I need to be able to make myself cooler too :o I found a sort of 3/4sleeve length ivory satin one in Debenhams with a tidgy bit of a turned up collar - I'd show you but it's not on their website yet. I also got one from Monsoon too, which is more chiffon type fabric with satin hemming, again it's to around the elbow.... and as an ultimate backup I bought a shawl/pashmina type thing. Obviously I'll take what I don't use back. So I guess it'll really depend on the day whether I a) feel like it's necessary to be covering up my bingo wings, b) feel slightly cold c) feel achey and cold.:o Plus it'll depend on what SIL has to say about the options tomorrow ;)

    Morning all

BZ enjoy the rehearsal and allow everyone to do everything for you, imagine you are the queen dictating to others....

CWTA ooo the seaside i'm 39 and i still get excited about going to the seaside...(i have to hide that as my DS 14 would be so embarrassed)

BP did someone mention chocolate ;D

Saucy good luck with the appeal hun, i will be routing for you..
i was watching benefit busters yesterday on the net (forgot to watch it thursday night - its on 4od channel 4 thingie) which prompted me to badger my pathways to work lady that i am seeing at the end of the month. had a chat about being housebound because the electric wheelchair is too heavy for me to lift over my steps, and waiting another 5/6 for social services to come see me about it and other home adaptions.. (ok stop rabberting paps) well.. she said oh stuff this, i'm deferring you for 3 months, you are clearly not able to and not well enough for this... i told her i was worried my esa would stop, she assured me that it wouldnt, and if i was in the same possition in 3 months she will defer it again, and again......
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?
