    Bless, you're so excited aren't you paw?:A
    I'm excited too!! :shhh:

It's late and I'm tired, but I thought I should let you know that the best man will live to see another day, with all his appendages too. I managed to say what needed to be said (including that if he makes any derogatory comments or snide remarks/faces about anything or anyone to do with the wedding I will knock him out and will not be held accountable for my actions!) and managed not to go over the invisible line. DF was going to leave us to it, but I made him stay for both best man's safety(!) and to give me some support. I was shaking I was so angry. But he's apologised now, and promised faithfully to turn things around, so we have to give him the opportunity to...and we'll see what happens. :o He knows there are some very definite things that he has to deliver on, and swiftly, if he wants to stay best man.:rolleyes2

Let's hope that's the end to it.

Let's hope that the rubbish bridal shop also ring me tomorrow to let me know my replacement veil is en route...as atm they're not promising that they can get it in at all!! Impressed? I think not.

I'm going for what should be my final dress fitting tomorrow (today now I spose) tho, so I get to see it again :D;)

 to everyone. Can't remember what I was going to reply to now...except whoever asked about beds? I have a king size divan (I know that's not entirely helpful but I could look on the mattress label what it is if you want?) and it's the comfiest bed! I bought it before I realised I was ill, but it's both soft and comfy, whilst being quite sturdy and supportive (I find). I don't think I could cope with memory foam (not least because I imagine them to be very hot to lie on) and I can't deal with springs being felt in anyway whatsoever (DF's bed is like that *shudders* I can feel the springs poking me on random pressure points), It was £350 from memory, from a local bed shop, about....oooh...must be 5 years or so now I reckon??

By the way...cwta...:naughty: could you possibly fit anything else in this month??

  • bz hope best man does come through and it is all sorted. very well done on letting him keep all his appendages :)

cwta that will be a nice visit.
  • BZ You managed some restraint with Best Man then - unlike with me and your ability to cast general sarcastic comments in my direction *g*

I couldn't say No to the visit as I rarely get to see her as she lives in Kent. I can get her to laugh at my choice of outfits for THE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY!
Oooh - must get me hair done!

I found some bailing twine for anyone who's worried about their hat blowing off in the wind too *g*

    How are you doing pcl?

I am going to look at our mattress we have now as well, hubby finds it comfy still but I think I can feel springs but it might be the fact that the joint pain is bothering me at the moment....

Glad you got the best man sorted, hopefully now he has been read the riot act he will pull his socks up...

the wedding ,the wedding is coming :j:j:j
well totaly worn myself out , and took the dreaded pill last night to get to sleep either that or cut off both arms as so painful. now all dopey ans sleepy.

lamewolf your comments(on other thread) just lifted me , and made me fill better, as you ( and i ) have noticed there seems to be a couple of real bad un's posting at the moment, i have seen about 3 ! with very nasty words aimed at the poor poster.....so sad

beds i think silent night do a "spring bed with memory foam top"this is quiet lovely..bliss....i tried memory foam , i have like a floor cushion ..only thing is it about 8in thick but when you sit on it , it goes down to 1/2 -1 inch thick so you feel like your still sitting on the floor..this applies to mattresses ..if you get memory foam mattress it has to be very, very thick. thay are made of latex type stuff no good it you have a allergies ! they mode to your sharpe so hard to turn over ..there like marmite....try out in the shop but lay for at least 1/2 hour ...i use to sell beds....if i was getting bed i would have this silent night one then a myers.

  • guess i wont ever be getting a memory foam mattress then...i suspect i have developed or am developing a latex allergy since things that used to be fine are now not.

vet is now trying whitney on heart tablets to see if they help pick her up, what fun i shall have trying to get them in her every day. todays was eaten (i think anyway) on the third attempt. last time i attempted to pill her i was finding them hidden all over the place for months afterwards as she had fooled me into thinking she had swallowed them and not spat it out immediately...that was prozac.
