My car has mud streaked up one side all over it, I asked DD to give it a spray with the jet wash when she was cleaning her car.
She said leave it Mum, It looks more authentic:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:0 -

I really do not understand the 'hatred' towards 4x4 vehicles - the 'green' issue does not wash with me. The later Land cruisers let our far less emissions that alot of smaller cars! And they do look better when splashed with mud!
We get alot of the 4x4's come into us, mostly Toyota's - but all makes, most of them are covered and caked in mud due to the usage. We did suggest the local farmer use an Aygo or a Smart car instead to save the World, but he didn't look impressed! :rotfl:Genie

The biggest gimps in my experience are losers in 7 year old Audi TTs which are probably on finance thinking they are the dogs balls cos they drive an Audi even though it's worth less than my Astra.0

'They' say that the new Audi drivers have taken over from the BMW drivers (own the road type). I wouldn't have one myself, but I think the new Audi's are nice looking cars - but expensive to maintain, but if you can afford it, why not?Genie

To add something on a purely factual basis, vehicles like the Nissan Navara or Mitsubishi L200 cost far more in insurance claims than vans of a similar weight. One might go as far as to say that these kinds of vehicles are generally driven by tosspots...
Oi cheeky!!!!
My other half drives a Mitsubishi L200 and he aint no tosspot, what a sweeping statement to make! so tell us how many drivers of this vehicle you actually know and how many you find to be tosspots?
I drive a Shogun elegance what "box" are you going to put me in for that?0 -

Going back to the original point of the thread, I was going down the M6 at the weekend (as a passenger, in a fiat panda). Just moved into lane 2 to overtake and some lunatic in an X5 comes hurtling along straddling lanes 2 and 3. Almost hits us and the car in front of us (if not more I can't remember. Then goes into lane 3 properly and proceeds to tailgate everyone. I called the police as it was so dangerous.0

Probably straddling lanes 2 and 3 because some idiot in a Panda had just cut out in front of him into lane 2 and he was taking evasive action.0
