To add something on a purely factual basis, vehicles like the Nissan Navara or Mitsubishi L200 cost far more in insurance claims than vans of a similar weight. One might go as far as to say that these kinds of vehicles are generally driven by tosspots...0

The Mits is a 'b' to service - costs a fortune, even on the second service you have to adjust the tappets and replace all the blasted gaskets - its ridiculous in these days. The Nav is not so bad. You need to get a Hilux really - they are the best and generally driven by people with good social manners. I wouldn't like to say they are driven by tosspots as you put it, these vehicles are used as work horses by most people and all they are doing is trying to earn a living.
Me, I would just like something that big mainly because I do not like small cars. I am saving up for a Land Cruiser, I prefer them to Range Rovers, they seem to be driven by people that are afraid to get them dirty....

It isn't - if you read thru the posts you will see that very few of them are b1tchy. Most are informative and helpful. Naturally there is some friendly banter, only a couple are provocative.chaddy7604 wrote: »OMG!!! I can't believe this is turning into such a b!tch thread :rotfl:Genie

That is the point.. all other things being equal a Hilux generally incurs claims comparable with vans of a similar weight, whereas on average L200's and Navara's cost a hell of a lot more...0 -
