    Hi hun;)

With my TWOPART CASE it was registered with the FSCS about June/July 2008, think it must have been the first one they had in regards of this company lol as the ref was number one.
However I don't actually think the ref number counts as such, because going by other cases with other companies, some were later ref numbers, and they received payouts before the earlier references, but with my circumstances at the time, with hubby out of work and other personal reasons, I requested if they could deal with it as one of the priority cases, I did actually request this to both deloittes and the FSCS, they agreed.

So it was 8th Sept 2009 TWOPART were finally declared in default, and not long before Xmas was the payout.

Now that your case have been sent back to the FSCS by Deloittes, then now it should be the matter of them checking the details and calculations in order for them to issue the payment.
I am sure it will be fine and if any probs you would have heard way by now.

    Good luck.

  • I'm still waiting.

Spoke to FSCS on Wednesday last week & they said that the claim was on its way to them from Deloittes. So hopefully I should hear something soon.

I'm going to contact Deloittes tomorrow to find out what they have to say.

It's terrible that we have to do all this just to find out what stage the claims are at. Both Deloittes & FSCS could reduce the amount of phone traffic they get just by being a bit more open about it.

    Hi

Mine was first sent to FOS at the end of 2007 then in 2008 they passed it onto FSCS. Like you, had to wait til TWOPART was declared in default and it was then sent to Deloittes. To be honest, I think it is Deloittes that have been holding this up as they only actually started requesting things about 6 weeks ago.

My claim number is 5, so it is a low number too.

Spoke to FSCS last week who said they received the paperwork from deloittes on 15th Feb so it was just a matter of a Manager looking over it and deciding what should happen. Its really stressing me out because I can't remember what I wrote on my original form but I think my main reasosn were that we wasn't given a choice about PPI we were told we had to have it and they pre filled all the forms etc out for us. I don't know if I mentioned about the PPI only being over 5 years or not. I did mention it over the phone to Deloittes and they said they had all the info they required, so i'm assuming they already know this?

I hate waiting but feel a little relieved that we are reaching the end stages now and progress is finally happening. I will be totally gutted if we don't get paid out cos i'm really counting on the cheque!

Lets hope we find something out next week. Not sure whether to just wait or give them another call?

I know coffeetower, it would make more sense if they could be more open, and help to relieve the pressure everyone is under.
Good luck for tommorrow and let us know how you get on

  • Good luck this week everyone it will be Friday I reckon before anyone hears, coffetower I reckon they will pay out for you this week. I was hopeful for a lovely birthday cheque but I guess I should have it before I'm 40 (next year).
I also can't see why the big mystery when you phone these people up after all I am only interested in my claim no one elses. Just to be told you are going to get something really would stop the worry in most cases and also stop constant phone calls

    Thanks Bodkins.

I spoke to FSCS this morning to be told that there are no notes on my claim to say it has been returned or is due to be returned from Deloittes!!
I was told by them (FSCS) last week that it was on its way to them:mad:

So, I then phoned Anna at Deloittes & guess what....she's not there so had to leave a message on her answer service:mad::mad:

I'm now totally confused & frustrated. One week it's all in hand & moving on & the next it would appear that its back to square one.
