Mine also came today, typically I was an interview down south so didnt get the excitement of the envelope coming and opening it.
NCD paid previously was deducted from the payment so no change to previous payouts, interestingly though there was no dedection for early cancellation of the policy which still has a year to run.
BUt a fab 20k cheque that in these difficult times is a huge weight off my shoulders and allows me to get rid of my arrears.:beer::beer:
Just need to plan carefully how best to use the money going forward.
Brilliant news, :T:T:T there's lot's on the way, I can feel it in my waters! Our whole world has changed in one day! :j:j0 -
Hi thnders, although your claim was no 10, it depends on the date the completed form was sent back. The FSCS are working in chronilogical order - date the forms were returned.
Try not to stresss, you will be ok
xx
Our claim number is under 10 and the forms were completed two years ago! I really think ours should have been dealt with by now but it is now all back with FSCS and we are just waiting for a decision now. It seems that Deloittes only started to get on with ours a couple of months ago. :mad:0 -
lol your list is growing again hun :j:T:T:D

Glad you asked here as I have no idea where I posted the other one? i'm not very good on here! lol
Well I wrote to Aviva (the insurer) and have had a couple of letters back to say that they are looking into it. The 2nd letter which I received about 4 days ago said they will get back to me in 10 working days with a final answer - i'm assuming this will be - its not our fault blah blah and i will have to take it down the FSCS route! - They have requested our info from Paragon. I really can't imagine that it would be straight forward! lol - i will keep you posted.
Thanks x0 -

I think yours should have been dealt with by now too. From my experience, I don't believe they are doing the claims in chronilogical order because I had a similar issue with mine which was a low number.
I expect you will hear something soon as it is back with the FSCS from Deloittes.
I'm really pleased to hear that cheques are starting to filter through again. It's such a relief when you can put all the stress behind you.0 -

It is nice to see more cheques coming through, once again!
It is hard to make out just what order they are working in(beats me)!!
I was told chronilogical, but it doesn't appear that way.
Hopefully the end is in sight for those still waiting
Good luck to all
