I know busbyh, I was really pleased to get a call from my case handler but when they said it went back to the FSCS to see if it was eligable for compensation, I thought "Oh no still not certain then" Gumbi is on the case!
Hi pinknico, I was pleased that you had actually heard from them At least you know they are on your case now. Hopefully it won't be too long. I think I am probably just panicking unneccessarily!! It''s like you want to know the result, but afraid of the answer.
Everything I have read regarding single premium points to us winning, so I shall get back to being positive again:D:D:D and wait to see what gumbi comes up with:beer:

  • It sounds like most of us have had a really positive week. Lets hope next week is even better. I too have been told they now have all the info they need and are ready to process my claim (Whatever that means). Anyone any idea how long it could take to process now they have the info back from picture?
By the way Well done dialysis for sending the info to Martin. Its great that he is also very concerned and replied very quickly.

Right all you Picture claimers and complainers.

From what I have found out Picture Finance entered into a Creditors liquidation and looking at that one its one whereby the voluntary do it cause they usually have other things in mind.

I have found the directors names (I think they are directors) and one of them (now inactive) got awarded an OBE in 2006

Neville Robert Allport. Chief executive, Picture Financial Group. For services to the Financial Services Industry and to charitable services in Wales. (Cardiff, South Glamorgan)

The person who is still there now is named Warren Henry Justice and he is an active part in Picture.

I have just done a search on the now "inactive" director (ALLPORT) and it seems before Picture he had his hands in Firstplus of all firms!!!!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Trident13/NAllport

I want to find out if Picture have opened any more companies just lately and if these directors can be held responsible for any compensations. I thought there was something about directors and liability?? Have all the picture companies closed now completely? Weren't they a group company???

Hi Sal7 hello:hello::hello: and welcome to our thread and you are now a picturite lol we will sort out challenging the loan together there are afew on here want to challenge their loans.:D

Thanks. I have been reading with interest but as my loan did not have PPI I didn't think anything could be done. I'm very glad to be a picturite :D and wish everyone good luck in getting PPI sorted. It all sounds horribly slow and complicated. I'm claiming PPI from first plus but just at the beginning so looks like I have a very long way to go.
