They will guide you all and lets hope you can do something after winning back the PPI. You need to all complain as then they know that something was amiss somewhere in the actual selling of these loans.

Thanks Marshallka you really know your stuff dont you? Thats really really helpful:T:T:TI think that that will be our next step once we get the PPI. By the sounds of it all of us on here will go down that route when neccessary. Cheers hun.0

Just spoke to Deloitte and cleared a couple of things up....Most importantly the order in which they are assessing claims.
They are assessing claims once they have all the relevent information so your claim number is not a factor it's all down to how quickly they get all the info.
This means the only possible cause of delay is Target/Picture as the FSCS have sent everything to Deloittes. I'm going to call Target later and draw a line in the sand!
If they can't get the information that Deloittes need really quickly after knowing about this for over 2 years then I don't see why I should continue to pay them on time:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
A bit of a gamble I know...but enough is enough! They've got nowhere left to hide as both the FSCS and Deloitte have now said they will look at claimsas the information becomes available.
If everyone who has a cliam outstanding suddenly decided to stop paying them I bet the'd free up some resources to get this sorted sharpish:p
Really appreciate what you are saying there about holding back payment but the cynic in me fears that all they will do is add a charge on to each and every payment you would fail to make.
Granted I suppose you could commence a reclaim on these charges but its taken this long to get to this stage with the PPI, how long do you think they would take for reclaiming charges ?
This being said, I am totally with you though. Would love to hold back payment pending there reimbursement of my PPI, but alais we are just mere swmall pawns in this big fat cat world. (I think Ive been on the sauce too much tonight, rant over!!!!!):DIf you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!!0 -
Thats great info marshallka, you really do know the places to search:A. I think this could really help those under the threat of repossession.
I'm sure Picture did not do any checks on salary etc and as far as the house valuation is concerned, well that is something of a joke - albeit not a funny one:mad: surely when taking on a secured loan, it is essential for a true valuation to made.
If this is the case, is anybody considering the possibility of challenging the actual loan itself ie that the loan was in effect missold (is that the right phrase to use?) on the basis that no valuation of property, Pictures advertising at the time, salary checks etc were completed. If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!!0 -
We have had a reply from Martin read it and see what you think.:T:T:D
Its an interesting case - and not sounding good. The problem when looking at any default company is it has no brand or reputation to protect - and the administrators dont care about that either.
This means media pressure has very limited impact. Though I do think it is something we should be looking to do.
I want to do it as a news story and get some research done on it - but itll be next week before that happens because of staff absenses (and Im in the midst of hardcore filming)
We will look at it though.
