Hi All!
I just spoke with a very nice young lady from Deloitte. I asked the questions about when the information was requested from Picture and when it was expected back.
It appears that the FSCS/Deloitte can only send a fixed amount of requestes to Picture within any week (which makes sense if you think about the volume of complaints - just under 1000 now) and it takes a week for Picture to come back with the answers. Then the next batch are sent. So when Pciture say that the are up to date with the requests, it is true.
Complaints are sent in date order, oldest first. I didn't find out about priority cases (sorry) but they muct be dealt with first (otherwise they are not priority!).
I then made a request: I asked for a statement to be put on to the FSCS website that stated what the current situation is. Not timeframes or anything else like that (I think we all know by now that they can't predict when it will all get done) but a run down of the current situation and how the process works. just to put a stop to any rumours.
Fingers crossed!0 -

Nice one Halpin,
This actually rings true with an email I've just had from Deloittes....They say that they have everything they need for my claim so I assume I was in the last batch sent to Target/Picture.
It looks like the information that we're all getting from Target/Picture, FSCS & Deloitte is all correct but we then have to piece this info together to get the full story.
I think it's a cheek that they can only send over a set amount of requests over each week....Target seem to have plenty of people available to chase up payments, perhaps if they used these people to process the requests from Deloittes then they would'nt have to chase us so hard!!:mad:0 -
Thanks Halpin very well done a lot of good information there:T:T
I also told her about this forum. She had no idea it existed. I think the FSCS and Deloitte will be taking a look and getting an idea of how the wait is affecting people.
I really think an official statement on the FSCS website would put a lot of people at ease.0 -

Dialysis, take a look at this..6.19 The CAB Service recommends that lenders who provide secured loansreasonable steps’

lender can prove that they took all reasonable steps to assess the
borrower’s ability to repay the loan. Such assessment should include
the preparation of an income and expenditure report taking into
account any identified or reasonably anticipated changes in the
circumstances of the borrower during the term of the loan. The Office
of Fair Trading should issue guidance as to the interpretation of ‘all
