Hello everybody, read through all the recent posts and found it pretty interesting,
i wont be sorted this week as deloittes have not yet got the info required from abbey, i probs would have had an answer by now maybe even a cheque, its taken abbey 4 weeks !! yet again they have promised the info in 24 hrs i even have an apology letter from them (fat lot of good that is!!) but still my info is not with deloitte.
Anyway not moaning, actually find it mildly amusing.
Listened to the recorded conversatons i had from picture when i first claimed, and i am so embarrassed, i actually said at one point when applying how freindly and down to earth they were and unlike other faceless companies i sound like a right dope !! just how they like em !!lol
they were calling me by my short name and getting across the point that they were just like me, and nothing was too much trouble. except of course informing me that a policy that would protect just one name for 5 yrs and was added to the loan entirely on day one , they werent so friendly when i missed one payment though !! the contrast between the sales side and the payment chasers is shocking its like they used snow white to sell the deal and the wicked witch to enforce it !!
Makes me sad to know i was in a position where i had to sip from the poison chalice while just trying to provide for my kids, i am not far from that position now but am determined not to go back.
also makes me sad that i sound like such a gormless twerp !!
I guess we all have a similar tale. Maybe we should start a co-operative !!

good evening honestbob we had to wait on info from the abbey i ended up going into my local branch and explaining it to them then spoke to them in a call centre anyway i had all the info from deloitte and faxed it all through from my local branch it only took a few days all in all dont know wether you have maybe tried this even deloitte asked us if we could chase them up ourself ,i wanted to make things go quicker so we did.dont go beating yourself up over it (the picture thing)its not worth it.:cool:

Yes bob, i'm sure we all have a similair tale to tell, desperate times take desperate measures. You are not alone, and you are not a gormless twirp, we were all taken in when "needs must" and as you say we are all determined we will never go back there!!!
Do hope you hear soon from BS. They are the "gormless twirps". ANd this feeling in my water is getting stronger by the day, for us all:D:D

We did this also, went to the local branch with the request for info from deloitte and they forwarded to them.

still no cheque and no info from them either damm they got some fools working for them at deloittes and fscs.
